Kore Suspension Group buy

I think some folks are missing the boat on the purpose of the "one time" group SALE not buy. It is (and was) my understanding this whole event was done at the request of TDR members and served as an opportunity to get Greg and DRC started as a Kore dealer and the TDR representative.



I don't see fault in selling a limited number of systems at a significant discount. It is standard practice by even big corporations/retailers (Walmart and others) to sell a limited number of things at or about cost to promote initial sales and market their products. It happens every Christmas season and just about every company does this to entice folks into their stories and to generate additional sales. Has anyone ever seen the terms "limited time offer" or "while supplies last?"



I lucked out and got through but even if I hadn't I planned to order the system at the TDR discount and save some money either way. The same TDR discount that anyone else here can still get.



What is most interesting is that the complaints about how this was handled come after the fact. If you didn't like the way it was being handled why even try and phone in for the group sale? Nothing is more admirable than standing on your principles, the thing that makes you look cheap is when you only stand on those principles when things don't go your way.

:-laf :-laf I've never ben called cheap before... . I've been told that I spend money like it's going out of style plenty-O times but never cheap!

Well said Raz. The relationship between Greg and Kent, goes way beyond selling KORE products to TDR members.

Who started the idea of a group purchase, not KORE or DRC, but TDR.



Yes, it was an excellent way to introduce a new business to the TDR, and offering a limited number of systems, is how most promotionals are handled.



I bought my RACE system at full price(OUCH) long before this GP idea emerged. Am I sorry I didn't wait, no way, the system rocks, and I do not regret the purchase one bit.



I've even had the opportunity recently to help out on the KORE race truck. I was more than happy to help, and it gave me a chance to meet Kent and Sara Mae.

I think since the "group purchase" is over and conversation seems to be only about *it* and not the product or 3rd gen trucks, I'm gona close this thread.
