I'm going to run my truck sunday and monday . . I just installed PDR 191 DV's ,4000 GSK and a #4 plate... I think my weight is around 7200 # . I'm curious if anybody else has a similar combo they are running ,I want to run mid to high 13's if posible But have propane just in case!! although I dont really want to use it. . (just replaced another head gasket). Any input would be greatly apreciated , I definitley dont want to lose to a powerstroke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello JR2 Nice to hear from you.
I passed on running on sunday the weather wasnt cooperating and there was a bit of thunder ... I did run monday though ,I wasnt sure what the truck was going to do on the launch pad so I built 3# of boost and rolled the throttle on easy . She dogged fairly bad but managed a 14. 74 @ 92. 98 MPH . The next pass the tree and the clocks were down for repairs I decided to step up the boost to 12# and blazed the tires for about 50 feet. The 3rd pass lined me up with my buddy Art in a 2000 chevy standard cab short bed 5. 3 liter motor ATI Procharger and a 100 hp shot of nitrous I figured what the hell hes gonna wax my ass good . We line up and im holding 8# of boost and launch Im actually pulling on him hard until i shift 4th gear he makes it to my door and thats it. . We decide to line up again and he says hes gonna spray this time . the same boost again and he just puts me at his back bumper ... not bad for being 2000# over him he was embarassed he had to bottle me for the win ... the next round I ran the propane and killed another head gasket . . Some people were saying he runs 13. 6 on blower and high 12s on the bottle . the clocks were still down so no official ticket!!!!
The truck went way beyond my expectations Im happy.....
Buy the way I though I saw you friday turning south on lake otis from abbott road real sweet ram bud !!!!!! I gotta go

Hey Zilla did you see a Black QC with stacks out there racing?? Thats Puffin Smoke. He ran a 13. 7 at like 97 mph.



Edit* to be fair to Puffin Smoke I thought I better post his actual times "I ran a 13. 72 fastest time and a 98. 25 mph fastest speed"



You need to come to one of our meetings... Are you interested in making a run on a dyno?? We are trying to get something set up.

Wuzzup JR2 . I sure wish them clocks were working I dont know my actual times or trap speeds . I did not see Puffin out there but did catch him a couple weeks ago practicing launches out there . . I talked with jim Lackey about having a class for us but we need a bunch of trucks for that to happen . I never run into many other diesels out racing ,We all have to get together to let them see if its going to be popular enough for a class... Now if we could find some fords to use for traction out there we might have something going now!!!!!!! Yes I would love to make a pull on a dyno and see what she'll do ... . The meetings sound fun its hard for me to catch enough time to break away for activities . I'll try and hook up with the TDR gang soon .....
