Looking around at dealer inventories online for my next truck, Wanting a Laramie Longhorn 3500, Aisin, 4.10 if possible. Wife really likes the fancy western pattern tooling or stitching on the longhorn leather seats. Found that some have it and some do not, and cannot find a difference on the window stickers. Have only seen the pattern on some of the canyon brown with light frost beige interior in premium buckets. What is the difference and what should I be looking for on the window sticker to find a truck with the patterned seats?
Thanks!
Denny

That's the only color the stitching comes in. It's what I ordered really like that trim. Wish it was July already!

I just went on the Ram site for the build a truck feature in the Laramie Longhorns on there the interior and exterior colors looks like whatever your color exterior is there are two choices for you. And Canyon Brown is one. At the dealer I just asked for Canyon Brown that's what I did. If you have a dealer in mind, I would call and make sure you can still order the 2014.I ordered mine on May 5th and they were talking deadline time then. Off the lot you will find 4x4s only for the most part and only 3.73 rear gear mine is a 4x2 Mega Cab Short Bed. My wife didn't want a 4x4 to hard for her to get into, and this truck will only be an inch longer than my 98.5 Quad Cab Long Bed important because any other truck won't fit in my garage. Good luck

I believe if the truck is called the Longhorn 'Limited', it has the full grain leather, but not the stitching. I have the 'plain' Longhorn with the stitching. But I very well could be wrong also since I haven't paid much attention since '12.

I have been wondering what the difference is between the Longhorn and the Longhorn Limited is?

For anyone thinking about leather don't look at the Longhorn! I was sure I wanted Laramie with leather but I liked the color of the interior of my Parents Longhorn so I looked at Longhorns and the quality and feel of the Longhorn leather is far superior to the Laramie.

I ended up with the Longhorn!

The build your truck site shows the limited, And it's limited. No two tone color, and they are limited only Black for interior no stitching. If you want multi colors and interior and exterior you go with Laramie Longhorn.

Buddy of mine just got a 2014 2500 Limited in Black with a Silver lower two tone. It has the diesel gray interior. Just sayin".

When we were shopping for a new 2013 or 2014, we couldn't figure out which Laramie Longhorns had the seat stitching and which one's didn't. I'm sure there's some pattern, rhyme, or reason to it, but it seemed random to us and the only surefire way to tell was to see the interior pictures on dealer websites. In the end we decided we liked the Laramie interior color choices best, so that's what we went with.

All the Ram trucks I looked at were 3500 may or may not make a difference 2500 to 3500 I ordered 3500 Mega Cab SB Prairie Pearl Coat top, White Gold Clear Coat on Bottom. Interior, Canyon Brown/ Light Frost Beige W the Stiching.

I agree with Cummins 12v98. In my opinion the Longhorn leather, being full grain, is superior to the leather in the Laramie. I find it comparable to the leather I had in my Mercedes ML!

It is really luxury quality!

I know someone on another site that has the Longhorn with two tone paint with my interior color but he did not get the stitching. Looked sort of lacking to my after seeing mine so long with the stitching!

Anyhow, I did get an answer to my original question. According to one dealer, "The Longhorn comes standard with canyon brown leather with filigree etching on the seats as well as the floor mats. An option is cattle tan leather with no etching." Just found out today from 2 dealers that I can still order new so I'm making the rounds.

We have the lighter brown, which I believe is the Cattle tan, WITH etching. If you look in the RAM catalog, you will see seat options. We ordered our RAM 3500 DRW. You can order with, or without, the stitching.

The leather in the Longhorn makes the Laramie "leather" seem like Grandma's clear plastic seat covers from the 60's!

I was shocked at the difference in quality. That nice leather probably cost me an additional 10K!

We went to look at a Laramie Longhorn, Aisin, DRW 4.10. loved it and bought it. It did not have the filigree etching, and instead had the cattle tan interior. We did see a different truck with the caynon brown and etching, and decided that while nice, it was not a deal breaker. Thanks to everyone for the responses.
