Looks like the weather is going to be in the mid 70's with a chance of scattered storms this weekend.
At least those that come from the low lands won't have to battle the heat we normally have at Truck Fest. If the track is ready it could be a good day to go fast.
I get mine from my sponsor, Blue Sun. They carry it at Shoco at 74th and Hwy 85 in Commerce City. I get in 5 gallon buckets pure 100% or you can pump in B20.
I will be at ATS Saturday and Truck Fest Sunday. I spoke to Clint yesterday and told me the plan, and Sunday I will be at the fest with my brother but not racing!
Well, better late than never. I made it to ATS by 3:45, just in time to find out I missed the dragster on the dyno and left at 8:45.
I was hoping to meet some of the out of towners, but only met MADDOG. I got to find out what it is like to be standing next to a truck that blows an intercooler connection at 98 psi boost. That will make you jump a little :--)
I got to see the Red Rocket... pretty truck... drool.
I got to see what an over fueled truck looks like when it is building boost waiting for traffic to clear. I think it was one of the ATS trucks. The black cloud blacked out the parking lot and stayed for quite a while. Nice long soot trail on the pavement.
I wish I could make it to the drags today, but alas, pre arranged projects will be keeping me at home today. Please somebody tell me that took video and will post links to some of the runs!
