i have heard about the leaks from the a/c and the rear brake light. my drivers side floor is wet could they be the cause..... or the clearence lights? my truck is parked leaning alot to the drivers side. i find no other wet spots. any ideas? thanks robert

Usually the clearance lights are high on the list as the culprits. The water runs down the pillar then through the kick panel to the floor.

Good luck,

The mat under the carpet will obsorb a ton of water before the top of the carpet gets wet. I had to remove the seat to get enough air space under the carpet for a fan to be effective. As you lift the carpet the water trail on the pad should lead you to the source.

Robert, may I ask what you found, if anything yet? I spent a good part of the day on my 97' removing a bunch of wiring, antenna, cell phone mount, etc. from the previous owner. When I pulled up the carpet to remove the wiring on the driver side I did find the mat under the carpet on the drivers side very wet. Reading the above it sounds like the clearance lights are a big culprit. I do not have the clearance lights on the cab..... any other suggestions, ideas?

mine leaks also on the driver side windshield. I think it is on the bottom corner. Its just more crappy dodge workmanship. I am still looking for a F350 crewcab to put the cummins motor into.

I did not get to check my truck for 6-7 days after i found the wet spot. it was dry to the touch and when i pressed hard on the carpet with my thumb it was still dry. it has been dry here with only a few light rains. but we are getting rain and wind last night and today. i will check it tomorrow . either way i will seal that bottom corner of the wind sheild and new gaskets for running lights. i'm going to mask off the windshield with just the seal area exposed and use that spay as seen on tv. let you know how it works..... or didn't work thanks robert
