leaky stove vent

I just figured out that the puddle that forms on my counter top is from the overhead vent for my stove fan. It happens only when it rains sideways. My tt is a 1988 Wilderness Yukon, and every replacement vent that I can find (with a door to keep out the rain), is too big. Has anyone else run into this, and know where I might be able to find the older outside vent ? Or maybe someone with a workaround ?
