One negative to LEDs, and the main reason I ditched them for the OEMs; they don't generate any heat.
If you drive much in snow, the LEDs don't have any ability to keep the lenses clear... on my silver truck, with snow covered LEDs, and in a snowy background; you're pretty much invisible to any traffic behind you. I'm not saying OEMs stay clear all the time, but they tend to stay clearer a lot longer than my LEDs did... and since I put lots of miles on a year and some of that is during winter months, they weren't for me.
Just a thought... I loved the look, but they were impractical in my situation... one size doesn't fit all.
