First of all. . Why the roll eyes... ? shouldn't it be. . ?

Second... Look at the first line :mad: :eek: :{ :{

It'll get fixed, and I'll be at the drags,, hoping to be making just enough power to NOT break something, LOL

Now that's what I call a response!!:D :D

Ok Guys, the LSTDR has got a lotta something in the works. Seeing that it's still early, a few of the detail may change before the actual event. This event would be in addition to the Rally like we had last year. Just bigger and better.

I know it's early, but these things are gonna take a lot of planning so please bear with us. Nothing is written in stone as of yet and a few things, like the date, may change. The date should be know within a few weeks and will be posted at that time for sure.

It would also be open to all brands like the "Thunder in Muncie" event in Indiana. The more trucks we get there the better.

Lets not let the interest dwindle down on this though. We need to show potential vendors and suppliers that we are serious about this event.

More details to come in the future.

count me in I'm looking for a race and I've always wanted to see how I stood up against some real trucks. the trucks around here are all stock :(

If they only knew the power available out of a "goat" :D

TTT

This hasn't been to the top lately so I thought I would pump this back up, like Stacked/Jacked pumps the Munice thread up. Hope everybody is still stoked for this.

for those who are intrested in this still......

The race track from what I hear is not very helpfull. :( :(

They do not treat the Ford-Diesel guys very well and I doubt they will do much for us.

Curtis, and Mike, tell me who/what I need to call/email. I want this to happen. Oo.

If you don't have any luck

There is a "Quick 8" (1/8 mile) track between Sealy and Columbus, off of I-10. It is a more "family run" type of track and may be more accomodating than HRP. I realize it is not right next to Curtis' house, but it could be a viable alternative.

I think the thing is that IT IS Houston Raceway Park, "the worlds fastest 1/4". There is a 1/4 in Navasota too, but HRP would be the only place to have it in my mind. It is truly the sweetest track I have ever seen. Smooth, and flat, and clean.

Here is a link to the web page.

Well, Fine.

I have been to Houston Raceway Park numerous times. I even saw Eddie Hill's first official, backed-up run in the fours back in 1991. It is a nice place.

I just thought you wanted to race trucks. For that purpose, Navasota would be just fine by me. I don't know about yours, but I don't think 100' of altitude will make any difference in my runs.

I was just suggesting a realistic place for us to run our rigs. A place that would actually give a darn about letting us and the Ford guys have an event.

We are working on it. :)

Can someone get us the contact info on the alternative tracks that have been suggested??
