"Finally" pinched off return hose and now at idle i have 22or23 when i pinch the hose psi drops 2or3

Double check that you pinched the return not supply side

I pinched it right behind the filter wher the metal goes to rubber but ill recheck.

Slight leak in the fuel line allowing air in? I had that happen in my '97 3500. One place to look is the preheater. It is under vacuum from the lift pump.

I replaced all rubber lines and took off fuel heater finally got good pressure i pinched off return line and pressure goes to 60psi idle its at 23 and when i rev it up it drops then comes back up to around 29 power seems to be better adjusted the overflow valve in prety good. I was pinching of the wrong hose before for the return but from doing this i understand alot more thanks for help.
