Hi all, back with more suspension questions!

What is the max lift in order to keep the stock sway bar frame mount locations? I noticed that on some big lifts the sway bar is blocked to keep it in a more stock location relative to the axle. How big can you go without moving the sway bar?

Thanks!

Not sure about the max amount of lift for the stock location, but you can always change out the end links for longer ones. That way the sway bar stays up tight against the frame where it should be, and the lift problem is taken care of also.

What I would do is look at the sway bar before the lift, most seem to be parallel to the ground while sitting level on a firm surface. Then after the lift is installed, measure the distance from the ends of the sway bar to where they connect and order longer end links from Day Star, Energy Suspension, or Pro thane. While you are at it, get the Sway bar mounts also, they make them in a non-grease able and grease able mount. The difference in the way they perform over stock rubber bushings is amazing, worth the effort to install them.
