Lifted Dodges At The Dealers

The dealer out here in Valencia is selling 06 diesels and gas 1500 cabs with lift kits installed along with aftermarket tires and they look goooooooooood.

I also didn't know that Dodge ( about time) was installing the solid front axel on the 1500 gas mega cabs that should give ford and chevy a run for the money, now if Dodge would only offer the same rebates I would go get one for my wife. :-laf

Some dealers will take a few select vehicles and put a ground effects kit on them or jack them up. They do look pretty sweet



The Mega Cab I believe is a 2500 long bed frame with about 2 feet taken out of the bed and added to the rear seat.

Yeah we do lifts and lowering kits on a variety of trucks. Also have done some sweat looking Chargers and magnums with whhels and tires, paint etc. The 1500 mega cab is a 2500 thats why is is a solid front axle, the most overbuilt half ton you can find...

Yea, I've seen dealers on Ebay charge like $7K or $8K more for a lift & tires/wheels that probably cost $4000 installed if you just took it and got it done yourself.



They makin' some nice cheese off those people.

Yeah, I see 'em down here in AZ too. I saw an F-150 lifted w/the tires/wheels combo for 50K the other day @ Earnhardt!!!

So, the warranty is void before it even leaves the lot. Makes sense to me.

My dealer told be that the warranty is still good when they sell a lifted or moded truck. They had a Mega Cab with a six inch lift ,20"s, fender flares and 37" Toyo tires on it. Only 7 grand more to the sticker. SWEEEEEEET!!, NOT.

Seen several lifted rigs at Petersen's stampede in Boise. They had several tire options and all were 35's and looked great. Doc

I see soooooo many lifted F250 crew cabs around Nor Cal with dealer plates. i can't believe people would pay the dealer markup for that stuff. I just laugh. And the best part is that they will never see a drop of mud! The guys that buy them think they need a 4 wheel drive truck becasue they drive to Tahoe to go skiing.

The dealer that sold it may warranty the truck, but take it to another dealer with bad u-joints or screwed up front suspension and see if Dodge will still stand behind it. It kind of changes to old saying to "my dealer is my ONLY warranty station".

Yeah, but if you think about it, it's more painless this way. Hey, the doorpops can FINANCE it.
