I just bought 2 140 Lance Lightforce to use as fog lights to put in my bumper.

What I want to do is use my factory foglight switch to run the lightforces. The kit comes with the ballasts and ignitor. Could I just use that and hook them up to the factory foglight harness or do I need to install the lightforce wiring harness as well ?

These lights are 35 watt. I beleive the factory fogs are 35 watt also?

You should be fine, I am running the Fogzilla kit on my truck which is using a 65w bulb and I have had zero problems for 5 years. HIDs will not draw near the amps as the factory bulb

You mean I do not need the lightforce wiring kit? I just don't want to have that pesky "lamp out" message. The specs on these lights are 3. 5 amps per light. Thats what is written on the ballasts.

Correct, just wire them up to the stock foglight harness and you should be good to go. :D

Just a note, my truck wouldn't power the ballast with two plugged in, had to make a relay to run them both. Must have to do with the igniting current, cause they draw less once they are on.
