Limited Slip Diff. Is it working?

I think alot of you may have the same problem I had with mine... too much LSD additive dumped in. When I bought my truck the rear really grabbed (not enough additive) so a month later I took it back to the dealer and I watched the tech dump in alot of additive. Of course the grabbiness went away,but so did the traction.
Since switching to Amsoil series 2000 75w/90(with NO additive),the rear LSD has performed perfectly.

I think I may know what the problem is with the LSD's. Dodge uses two types of LSD's . If you have the dana 80 you have the trac-loc. If you have the dana 70 you have the power-loc. I have the power-loc and it works great. It is a two piece dif that uses a ramp to apply more pressure to the clutches. The trac-loc is only a one piece dif with no ramps. I have had two other vehicles with trac-locs and they were worthless for traction. I believe this could be the answer to why some LSD's work and others don't.

I wish I had to loose of a LSD.
Infact my entire carrier is going to get replaced next week because it is not releasing at all. The tec did the torque test and it still did not bust free at 230 ft/lb. said no additive would help, had to replace the entire thing, it was built to tight to let the clutches slip at all and has seen this before on a couple of trucks with dana 80's.
