I have an appointment this Tuesday to have my truck done. The local Line-X dealer is having a 2 rear aniversery sale for 1 week. Under the rail $350 and over the rail $400. Any suggestions on this? I know once Ive done it, Im stuck with it.

Thanks guys

I have Line-X, over the rail and love it. 400 is a pretty good price as I paid 450 for mine. If I had it done up here in Alaska it would have been almost 600!!! I feel the Line-X is top quality material, and one of the best warranties in the business. Go for it.

Bert

Strongly recommend getting it. I've had it done in three of my trucks. Line-X is a great product with an awesome warranty.

I had the dealer put mine on at their price... . around 350. 00. This is second truck I have had the lineX in... Love it... .

Got my long bed done over the rail for $503 in California. I seem to put dents in my truck bed very often. The Line-X liner makes the bond stronger and makes it very hard to dent the truck bed. Takes about 2 1/2 hrs to do. Additional 24hrs of drying time until you can put something in the bed. **Highly Recommend it!**

I liked it so much on my '97 that when I bought my new 2004. 5 I went straight from the dealer to Line-X before taking the new truck home!!!

Have had both Rhino Linings and Line-X. Absolutely no comparison between the two.

Line-X is way better!!!

Go over the rail. It looks great, and protects even better!

At those cheap prices, do it soon before the price goes up.

Good luck

I have lineX on my 2004 over the rail and I really love it. second truck I have had with linex. Price is good.

The dealer is in Grants Pass Oregon. Its their 2nd year aniversery sale.

$350 for the bed and $400 bed and over the rails. . Im going for the over the rails. . With this paper thin Dodge paint, I want all the protection I can get!

I had a Line-X done on my 98 at a dealer in Chico California about 5 or 6 years ago. The guy did a crappy job. I could see the red paint through it! He also didnt prep the bed as it pealed off. I understand that the company in general has now better control over its dealers. The guy in Chico fought like hell to keep from fixing my 98 but after alot of garbage, he finally did a half ***** job and sent me on my way. The guys up here have done alot of trucks and Ive seen their work. They seem to do a very nice job and put it on thick! Time will tell. Ill keep all informed! ;)

Does the Line X keep the color better than Rhino lining? I have the Rhino Lining in the 99 and it looks like it started out black but is now a milky gray.

I have been reading all the posts on the spray in bed liners, since my truck is a week old i am getting one soon. My prior truck a 2000 Silverado had a Rhino sprayed in , and i never had problem one with it. The Line X looks better, but appears to be a thinner liner, and I thought the liner is for saving the truck bed. I have looked at severial Line X jobs, and it appears the harder finish lets things slide more than the Rhino, so I am still up in the air , if the Line X is thinner, and doesn't have the grip the more rubber like Rhino has why do so many people prefer them, is it just the look is better, my two cents, Ron

Paid $250 to get my flatbed deck and backside done. Really like it. It has a few small spots where the topper 'shack' wore through on top of the diamond plate. But I'm not complaining because its operator caused. Should be covered by warranty, but they are so small I'm not inclined to take it in. :)

Go with Line-x

Get the Line-x, I've had Rhino on 1 truck, Gator hide on another, and something on my 01 from the Dealer. Love the Line-x, I am always shoveling dirt, sand, and crap out of the back, Can't even nick it. Go over the rail, and make sure they get over the edge of the rail. Also make sure they remove the screws inthe tailgate access panel before spraying.
