you should really report this issue to the NHTSA, it is important to do so.

not long ago AEV Vehicles had a recall for all sold Alloy Wheels because of 5 (five!) reported cracked wheels. no accident happened.

lets put it this way, they are cheap chinese crap.
I have aluminum rims manufactured by Lions Head on my 2015 Grand Design.
I noticed what I thought might be a crack in a spoke a year ago.

its cracked alright.!!! that thing reared its ugly head.
now get me, I know its chinese but it shouldn't fracture in normal use
and I know I didn't cause it, tire is on the left side of trailer.
they won't warranty it iether. apparently they can tell it was operator abuse from a few emailed photo's.
3rd photo you can see the beginnings of another failure of a spoke.
first two are of the one that is broken in two.
thask Lions Head. I'll make sure you get a good recommendation from me everywhere I go. LOL

6V92TA. Even before we bought our new Minnie Plus we were automatically going to change out
the 15" wheels to 16" so we can select better tires. It was only after we bought the 16" steel wheels
and Michelin XPS Ribs that we learned all about Lions Head. The dealer said they are aware of issues
with Lions Head but not resulting in any road accidents. Dealer also said that once you drive off
the lot then wheels and tires are not warranted. Dealer said that Grand Design bought out Winnebago
last year and that may be why the Lions Head. The Minnie had GOODRIDE ST225/75R15E soft thin wall
light weight tires on it and the first 1000 mile trip revealed excessive sway, even with identical hitching
from our previous Cherokee TT. After changing out wheels and tires, the next trip was much better and
with a lot less sway. The previous Cherokee was a very stable tow for eight seasons
even with a worn out Equal-lizer hitch. We then realized the Minnie design was not as stable as the
Cherokee so we bought a new 1400 tongue wt Equal-izer. That really cured any residual sway issues and
also weight distribution was finally restored. Knowing what we know about Lions Head, what remedy could
you get with your situation? Replacement Lions Head wheels at best? It is sad that these trailers come with pretty
and cheap low quality wheels and tires just to get a sale.

Just received my $30.00 from Lionshead to reimburse me for cost of swapping new warranty wheel and my tire.
