You'll have to pull the starter. It's very easy in my opinion, at least to me it was easier than pulling a vw bug starter. Just make sure that you have a 12 point socket. Once the starter is pulled you can install the contacts. You'll be done in less than an hour.
 
Thanks for the pics. I'll put it on my to do list. A VW bug starter is the easiest one in the world to replace if you have the body off the pan. I think my truck starter will come off since it has been replaced before.

Or if you have an access hole from the parcel shelf behind the rear seat... Anyway back to the topic at hand. Judging by your mechanical abilities this far, I am sure you'll be okay with the truck starter.
