Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lockup switch installed and doesn't lockup the TC. What's the problem?

1998.5 auto and installed a lockup switch grounding the Orange/Blk wire off the middle PCM plug. It doesn't keep the TC locked up. Am I missing something?

Did you pull the relay in the PDC and install a jumper?

Yes. Use to have a working AutoLoc device installed.

Might have found the reason for this. I was using a three pole switch w/light. Read on another forum that LED switches with lights might be a problem. Just used bare wire (I know not smart but did it just once...ok twice) and that functioned properly. Will get a appropriate switch tomorrow and see if that works right.
