Rick, I'm also from west Suffolk, Huntington. I don't know how to do the private message thing yet, still pretty new to computers. I went into your "readers rigs" profile, and I'm pretty sure I've seen your truck before... the color stands out. It's good to know there's other 1st gen guy's around. Brian.

Thanks Jay, I may take you up on that. When I saw the "NW" Ct. I immediately thought Norwalk, I have a sister in Stamford. Then I saw your reply to the other thread in which you said you're from Mystic, and I realized you meant north west. Not as close as Norwalk, but close enough for a CTD.

My first post here, figured I`d make it in a thread about Long Island. I`m also I Suffolk, I live in Bellport. Nice to see there are a few 1st Genner`s around, I don`t see too many 1st Gen CTD`s around here.

Only kidding... . I would think with the shape the LIE is in you'd need a big old truck just to survive!!

It seems like every other car out here is a $90,000 SUV driven by a "soccer mom" who has no business being behind the wheel of an intimidating vehicle. You need a big truck just so they don't cut you off while they're chatting on the cell phone ignoring every other person on the road...

I really need to get out of New York for a while, time for a vacation.
