money in hauling?

Towing observation on the new GM HD's...

Dan you made me LOL for sure.

thanks, its on my high side for price but not that its not a real resonable price but I'm hoping to find something for less. I'm also real stuck on the front bedroom.

I wish you luck in a sale, but unfortunately not for me.

Thanks for your reply.

Adam

Hey Adam, I have a 22ft Funchaser by Carson Trailer.

I bought it after looking at the Weekend warriors.

Weekend Warriors price for the same size as what I have now was around 24k.

I paid just over 11k.

There is a Carson Trailer dealer Here in Bakersfield at 3960 Saco Rd. 661-391-9805

They have a 26ft Front Bed Model there for 14k (i think). I looked at it,Real nice!, But its way to big for me, Being that Nat Forest camp grounds are tight and size is limited to 22ft.

I am Happy with the Carson Trailer, I have had no problems with it at all.

If Price is a Concern, Carson Trailers start at at $6,500 for a 16ft and $8,000 for a 20ft, and so on. .

The fold down Dinnet Benches in mine I have modified into a supper duper 8'x6' king bed when sleeping.

There are some used 2-3yr old Weekend warriors around here for sale for More than what i paid new.

Doug.

MY6EATSV8'S, we bought a 2001 Thor Tahoe Transport fiver about 14 months ago. We were looking at the 28 foot tag along until we saw this 5th wheel. The 28 foot has the same floorplan, just a little shorter in the back.

We LOVE it. Very little warranty work needed. However the frame is rusting now and I e-mailed ThorCalifornia (my dealer went out of business). I sent them pictures and they said "get a quote for what you want done, i. e. , repainting, and we'll let you know". Well, the quote was for $660. 00 and they e-mailed back and said "Okay, get it done, we'll pay for it". So far, great customer service . . . and we're in Atlanta!

Use-wise, our trailer is affectionately referred to as the "Chuckwagon" :) `cause it will seat eight for dinner! We've got two rocker-recliners in back with an endtable/lamp between them!

Thor's have a huge carrying capacity and can be had fully self contained (as ours is). Check `em out.

Dunno of any on the left coast, but Indiana is chock full of good TT deals. (because they make most of 'em there) The toy box haulers are relatively new, though, so it's sometimes hard to find a good used one. I've also found a bunch of converted race car trailers, which I like better. Those are only $11,000 for a new one, 20' of living quarters in the front.

Adam, if you want to buy one out here, I could tow it to you, meet you halfway in Colorado or wherever. Yes, I'm serious. The dealer might even offer to do that, though! Never know.

I can mail you some Indiana & Kentucky RV Trader magazines.

But it's not a bad idea to try to get Barry in Texas to help you find one, he's one of us, and I wish I'd got my trailer from him. I still might, one day, when I trade this one off.

www.walnutridgerv.com is where I bought mine. They sell the All-American brand of toy haulers.
