Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Looking for adjustable trac bar

Just curious as to what adjustable trac bars you guys are using. Not sure what brands are good and ease of installation. It's time for re building the front end of my truck. Already bought all the parts to upgrade to the T style HD steering, just needing the trac bar now

I have a synergy from geno's that I put on and took back off of my 01. It seemed like a quality unit and was I believe a little less money than some of the other options. My only problem was it did not clear my mag hytec front cover(stock height). I think it would be a good unit if you have factory diff covers. I talked to a BD rep who was at Scheid's and he said their track bar would clear the front cover and it also looks like a quality product.

I've been running one of the adjustable Lindstad bars linked above for the last 200k miles and 13 years. Adjusted it probably 4 or 5 times to compensate for wear. Works great. I thought they had gone out of business and the only hope would be a deep net search to find one but Mr. Google found the site listed. Definitely recommend, only possible down side for some is a couple minutes welding is required.

First step is convert to a 3gen trackbar bracket.



I have one from Solid Steel (Canada) and have thoroughly tested it. They also offer adjustable track bars.

I have the BD 3rd gen adjustable track bar kit. I have had it in for approximately 5 years and it has been great. Good luck

I have a Mag hytec front diff cover, will I have any clearance issues with either ones from Thuren, Carli or BD? Also, I would like to order the DSS but I have a BOSS plow mount on my truck. Does anyone know if the DSS will fit with my mount?

That would be a great question for the manufacture. I don't live in snow country so I have no way to check fitment. The steering box brace does mount to the same holes the sway bar and will hang down a little bit.
