That looks great. I sent them email to see what they want US dollars. I will post when I hear back from them. Thanks for the post. My steering is fine on my truck but if this could be added to insure that it stays that way for a good price it would be worth it.

Pit Bull:

Based on all of the good reports from you guys I sent my check off today.

Don't you think that you're being a little hasty, Pit Bull? :)

Hello-

After the 2nd leaky Steering Box I've decided to give the Darin Bracket a go but I'm not sure how to put my name on the list. I've emailed Marv to get total cost with shipping (no cod) but he hasn't responded back. Did you guys just send a check and estimated the shipping cost. Did you receive confirmation of your order or just prayed that you might get a present in the mail? Any feed back would be appreciated

Thanks

John

I sent Darrin an email ordering with my address and truck information. That gets the ball rolling. Same day I sent him a check with all the same information. Check is for the cost of the part. Darrin sends it to you COD for the delivery costs. He only sends through the US Government postal service. Then you wait for delivery. Should be shorter delivery now that they have gotten through the back log and have everything more streamlined. Hope this helps.

Darin e-mailed me and said they are making two wheel drive braces now and that mine was being built. Unless it changed and i don't think it did the cost is 125. 00 for the brace and 22. 00 for shipping. U. S Dollars. Richard

Richard, I think the reason he ships COD is because the shipping costs vary based on where your at. Thats why you send him the $125 and he ships COD to cover the shipping part. Hope this helps.

No it will not help with the pull you have, try swaping your frt tires. If that doesn't cure the problem you need to have it aligned. Richard

To fix the pull to the right you'll need an adjustable ball joint made by ingle. If fixed my truck (several years ago).

Hey guys,

What's up with Darrin? I sent a Global Priority mail envelope and a check to him 2 weeks ago and I have since sent 3 emails to see if he got it and when he might be sending my "fix" and have yet to get any replies.

Anyone know what gives???

Darin's respone

I had E-Mailed him several times when I ordered mine never heard back from him once but bracket showed up after about 30 days. I think he is just so busy and only responds to checks sent to him. Bracket worked great on my 99, steers better that it did new. :)

Here's a copy of the e-mail I've just received from Darrin:

We have been doing some remodifying to the brackets lately. The new style

are now powdercoated, have endcaps on the tubing and are built to fit in

case you have or intend to put a lift kit on.

The price did go up though, due to these changes. It's now $139. 00 plus

$22. 00 shipping=$161. 00

You can send a check to:

Darin Tessier

Box 301 Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada

S4H 2K1

Include the year, model, 2or4wd with your order.

Once we receive this, the bracket will be sent out the same week. We can't

seem to keep them in stock due to the amount of orders, but we can build

them fairly quick now, so we are only behind by a couple days. We send thru

the mail, so it could take a couple weeks.

Thank You.

Darin

Be patient guys Darin will do the right thing and when you get his product it will be right and if other Trucks are like Mine was You will never go back to stock.

Keep the faith

I'm wondering how the price increase will affect orders already placed including the generic $22. shipping charge?

[I sent in $147. 00 exactly 1 month ago... figure: $125. 00 for the steering brace + $22. 00 shipping (per a previous post early on in the thread. )]
