Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) low fuel light

Where can I find some info on installing a low fuel psi light? Someone in my family recently purchased a used 24valve, and I would like to prevent them from munching their injection pump. I am just looking for where everyone is putting the pressure switch and what pressure the switch needs to be set for.

Blue Chip Diesel sells them. They come on at 5 PSI. I prefer using a gauge. A gauge will tell you more about the fuel system.

Bully dog sells them and i think the kit was 69. 00 you can buy a small led lite from radio shack for 3. 00 i drilled a 1/4 in hole in the plastic instrement cover to the right side and mounted the lite there it all works fine

I bought two spare lift pumps when Cummins was offering their 'firetruck lift pump' sale. They were identical to the OEM pumps but came with a low pressure light kit and only cost $64. 90/ea. Haven't needed to use them yet and I already have a gauge.
