For the last year or so I've noticed that the voltmeter drops down to below 12 volts when I start the engine. It stays down for 30-45 seconds then goes up to the normal 14+ volts. This is not the toasters coming on and off when it's cold.
After driving for awhile and stopping engine, when I start it up again the voltmeter comes up immediately to the normal 14V+.
Is something going TU or should I not worry?
