2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission LSD stuck in Posi mode

Jacked up left rear to check low tire for leak and it wouldn't rotate, jacked up rear end and both wheels turn together both ways like they're locked. Any ideas???

Yes. This is normal. The limited slip is accomplished with a small clutch pak connecting both axles.

The LSD action happens when the forces overcome the clutch's holding power.

If you can spin one tire and the other spins the other direction (and you have a LSD), the clutches are worn and need replaced. This is for the Dana powerloc and tracloc, and any other LSD that uses preloaded clutch packs.

That's to prevent chatter, what he is experiencing is normal for a Dana.
