Maybe some of you have experienced the same problem I am having. Have a 94' 4x4 ... . just did the whole front end top to bottom... springs, shocks, ball joints, universal joints, wheel bearings, all steering linkage, all bushings, dss, alignment, even all new bolts and nuts. Before all this I installed a thuren track bar... . truck was fine but sloppy. While I was freshining up the front end I figured now is a good time to put a Mag Hytec on the Dana 60.
Truck rides fantastic... . except when I go over a decent size dip in the road the BIG bolt on the Thuren track bar that attaches to the frame hits the top of the diff cover... . quite hard...
I can see a wear mark. Never happened with the stock cover. This happen to anybody else?? What are my options?? I cant live with it and sooner or later I'm gonna hit a dip I dont see and its gonna crack it.
Grind the bolt down??
Longer bumpstops??
Scrap the Mag Hytec and get like a Dynatrac cover or something??
Opinions and thoughts appreciated ... . Thanks
