Marker light wire harness routing

Last night as I was prepping the truck to leave with the camper this morning, I discovered a wire harness from the frame rail to the back marker light on each fender was smashed between the overload spring and the spring perch... on both sides! It looks like the factory routing is crappy.... curious if anyone else may have this same issue?

I would recommend checking!

I keep blowing fuse when I got mine, They couldn't find and keep upping the fuse to see if it would fail terminally. Never did, just started flickering. Tech finally found it by chance, replaced both harnesses under warranty.

I had the exact same problem...fixed under warranty.

I had the same problem, but only on the right side. Kept blowing fuses until I had seen someone post on TDR to look at the spring area. The left side had a hole in the spring mount, but right side didn't so the wire was just loose and able to get in the overload spring. I did repair myself by splicing a piece of wire and tie wrapped it out of way. Had no problem for over a year now.
