silver 2500 in bel air area

trying to find out who is running around harford county area with a silver 2500 looks like he has rod's pod kit and exhaust we raced down 95 one day

Hey Mike hows it going? Did this truck have Cummins stickers in the back window. last summer on I70 I raced a silver reg cab 2wd with the big C stickers in the back window. This guy was stock, did't have a clue what hit him. Also he was not a TDR member. Could not get a wave or thumbs up from him, and he would have known better by looking at my truck. This was with my old 99 3500 QC.

Ha, ha, ha, I've seen you before!

Yup, I am always working around clarksville area, I have seen your truck many times up at Mobil, looks good! I don't have any stickers on my museum piece LOL! I'll have to flag you and your unit down next time :)

Hey guys,

Imills, yup, I get out that way too LOL :D I go to school out there, not this semester, but last spring I was out there a lot.

I have not been in the MDTDR circle for a while, have had no time. However, in planning ahead, I will be going up to New Centerville PA for the truck/tractor pulls in the fall, looking forward to that already. That was a blast last year, with Dave Walls, Sled Puller, and Johnboy3. Other than that, I am trying to turn one of my trucks into a puller, which is only limited by, time, funds, and energy, all of which seem to be at an outright premium right now. I cannot wait, but I figure that may be, just may be, next year, I could have an 500-800Hp engine puller, but that is up so far in the air right now, it isn't even funny. :D:D:D

Hey Wes-

That is you blasting through my neighborhood. Do you do lawn jobs? Because if you do, I would appreciate it if you would avoid my lawn.

Thanks a lot,

Russell ;)

russel - yea that was me. sorry for blasting i'll quiet her down. my frind amanda plecha lives just around the corner from you. yes i do lawn jobs but the ones i got are over in highland. i notcied you 2 trucks, and saw your equipment too. i also noticed you looked up at me the one time i passed. i didn't know you lived right there. i haven't been over there lately except for this week, because of spring break, and no school. if i see you, ill stop and say hi. oh and sorry for all the noise, but i just love my strait piped truck!

I work at Keene in Jarrettsville and see quite a few BOMBed trucks running around. I haven't noticed a member sticker since I've joined!

Nice red 2nd gen 3500 with a white stripe with the cummins logo on it. Today about 4 pm.

Seen on rt 924 in abingdon, in front of the shopping center where Gabe Bros is.

I was in my Intense blue/driftwood 2500.

Nice truck, it sounded GREAT as it went by.

russell - yep old blue has a stack now, and will have 2 soon - didn't have enough money at the time but i got the other one and all the pipes on order and should have everything finalizd by next week. i just love how everyone that i pass has a blank look on thier face in aw. it's so loud as you know. didn't notice any gains in performance (except noise!), and the turbo sounds wicked cool when i snap the the throttle closed. i got a 16cm2 turbo housing on order as well. my egts are pushing the limit and i need the extra top end. might be in your neck of the woods next weekend. if i see ya i stop and say hi.

saw a 03' dark blue ram today on rt. 108 on the overpass for rt. 32. nice lookin truck. didn't see any stickers, and it sounded like it was strait piped. any takers?

OURS... give us a honk, if you see us.

To all 20,000+ TDR members… it’s HERE!!! Picked up our truck this past Wednesday and all I have to say about it is: AWESOME. Ordered 2-2, picked up 5-26. It was a long wait, but well worth it.

Since I had read posts about low fluid levels on some new trucks, I asked them to check all the fluid levels, especially the differential. They not only checked everything, but gave me a copy of the latest TSB on checking the fluid level in the rear diff (I have already posted that TSB number in response to another thread). I thought the whole process was handled very professionally and courteously.

I have to say that I was very impressed with our dealer, Cooks Automotive, in Aberdeen, MD. From my saleswoman, Linda, to the manager, Chuck, to the truck’s prep, to Dave, the guy who handles the financing, everything was handled very professionally and courteously. (I also learned a lot about fly fishing and some local places to go from Dave. Thanks, Dave!)

jcarey, I also got my 03 3500 dually from Linda at Cooks. Great people to deal with. I ordered mine and I feel I got a good deal. With rebates and below invoice pricing I got $9170 off the sticker of $45,865, which came to $36,695 plus tax and stuff. There was no BS about having the sales manager sign the deal, she just said here is the price I will call you when it comes in. Chuck also helped the deal by back dating the paper work so I could use a $500 coupon that expired June 30, 03 and the truck didn't come in until July 3,03. I would recommend everybody in the Maryland area looking for a truck to see Linda and Chuck at Cooks Motor cars. I have not been back for service except for a recall so I don't know how the service dept. is.

Saw a burgundy colored dually on 50 east last thurday, 6/17. It exited at rt 3/301. Ohio tags. Had a TDR sticker in the back window.

I tried to get the drivers attention, but he was doing a good job of watching the road in front of him. :)

OK, I spotted you at Homedepot tonight in Hagerstown. You were checking out the white 2wd 3rd generation 3500 we were loading. I also saw you at the MD-TDR meet this weekend, but never had a chance to talk to you. After talking to **ICEMAN** I think I might have figured out who you are. :D

I was working for a customer in DE yesterday. He calls me over to his computer to show me a Cummins truck he filmed at Cecil Co Dragway. He said he filmed it about two weeks ago. it had stacks and was running 14. 2 at 94 MPH, it smoked real bad. The last run, which he did not film, the truck did something different and broke the tires loose at the 1/8th mile mark. Who ever you are your run should be on the Buick GN site. www.tubobuick.com
