Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) MBRP Muffler DELETE

I picked up PN MDS930 today from one of the local performance shops. Muffler delete kit for 94-02 Dodge ram stainless steel 4" muffler delete. Got the muffler off, put the pipe in its place and... .



Pipe is about 6" short . Had to pay 80$ to get a muffler shop to weld some extra pipe on. Anybody else had this issue? MBRP will definitely be hearing about this...

you sure that PN isn't designed to delete one of THEIR mufflers and not the OEM muffler?

Positive, It is on the MBRP web-site and I even called MBRP to double check this (only because I have horrible luck and these kinds of things ALWAYS happen to me). Sales at MBRP told me that it was PN MDS930 for the MBRP 4" exhaust system.

ahh, I gotcha... you already had an MBRP system and the delete didn't fit. I thought you were deleting a stock muffler.

MDS930 is the muff. delete for a Duramax. MDS936 is for 94 - 04 Dodges.

Just an update, called MBRP this morning and he told me that there were two single exhaust systems being marketed for the 94-02 dodge ram. One had a 30" muffler and one had a 36" muffler. He is talking to some people to see what they can do for me.
