Where was the farm sale and which auctioneer? Just curious since I graduated from auction school about a month ago. I was at a farm sale yesterday in Manchester.

The auction was just south of Homer (if you know where that's at). I have no clue who the auctioneer was. If i still have the receipt i'll look it up and let ya know.

Ken Frecker? they are big down here and Homer isnt that far away. Just a thought

I am going to try to get in with Ken and help out down in Hillsdale once in a while. I actually met up with him out in Marshall this afternoon. His nice '03 CTD DRW is being traded in tomorrow morning up in Bezonia for a bright shiny '05. I picked up his B&W turnover ball and fifth wheel attachment for my buddy over in Flat Rock.

next time you guys are in the area, i live right off I-94 Exit 119 first house on the north-East side of the highway. I'm only 8 miles from Marshall. Stop in any time, you'll either see my truck or my GF's white jimmy.

I couldn't find the name of the auctioneer, but my GF's dad works in litchfield wich is where he found the pamphlet for the auction.

I will have to remember that. I am out that way once in a while. If you are into John Deere tractors, there is a great auction tomorrow about 20 miles west of Lansing in Sunfield, MI. (1/4 mile east of the M-50 and M-43 intersection on West Grand Ledge Highway) Kruse International is running the auction. These are the guys that do the big classic car auctions down in Auburn, IN. I will be helping out as a ringman for the auction. Go to www.kruseinternational.com for a listing of the auction. It's a 40+ year collection of JD's. THe auction is at 10am. I will have the CTD there as well...

Not really into john deere tractors but i love to go to the farm auctions just to look around. Have you been down in Auburn and looked at Kruse auction park ?? That place is absolutely huge. If you come around any more auctions plz pm me i'm always interested.

Thanks

Curtis

I actually went to Reppert's Auction School which is owned by the Kruse family. I just graduated about a month ago. The place is amazing. I didn't get to see any of the museums or anything, but I will definitely go back for their big collector car auctions.

If you want to find some good auctions, go to www.msaa.org and click on the find an auction link. I am sort of apprenticing with Braun and Helmer over this way. www.braunandhelmer.com Auction season is winding down some at this point though.

Hey, Any of you guys thought about getting a michigan chapter around? They have a Great Lakes chapter, but that includes all the bordering states. Where they are meeting at is 4 hrs away! thats a little far for my rear. Eventhough Im sure it would be worth it, Ive just joined and want to get more involved and what not, along with a few of my buddys with CTD's.

Off topic but just a thought

green 97? ext cab long bed "Cummins" tailgate

BlueBeast-

Im tring to get a lil gathering in Hillsdale MI on the 18... . that is if we get enough guys around and weather permitting. You wouldnt have been up to CMU for the western/CMU weekend were you? I saw a truck about just like yours only it had quite a bit of TDR decals on it, Id describe it a little more but... . yeah it was a good weekend

"Poling Power" and I dropped off his truck at a local shop "Diesel Performance Systems" in Adrian MI today and to my surprize a TDR truck getting worked on. It was dark green 97? extended cab long bed, Id say it had 10" wide polished wheels, and goodyear grabber wheels. and said "CUMMINS" accrost the tailgate. The shop guys werent around but the sec. was and she said the guy was out of Farmington Hills or that area and hes got a brother? that brings his truck down also.

Personally I do not see why we would need a Michigan chapter. Over the years we have had several GLTDR get togethers in various parts of Michigan. Usually these events were organized by members of the GLTDR and the same thing could be done again. Personally I see no need to start a Michigan TDR chapter. The proper framework is already in place it is just under-utilized. Unfortunately right now the GLTDR is pretty stale, it just needs someone with some time and enthuiasm to get things rolling again. I am sure I saw this exact same truck pulling a big trailer out I-94 around Jackson last week. I just turned around in time to see the word CUMMINS all the way across the tailgate. May have been blue lettering. Looked like a nice rig.

that is my brothers truck at D. P. S. that is were we take our trucks if there somthing we cant fix. doug knows his stuff very well and is always willing to help us out he is resonably priced and does excellent work. and yes i was at central western weekend. and yes that was me on I-94. my brothers truck was broken out at school in kzoo so i had to pick it up and take it to adrian. i would deffinitally be interested in getting together on the 18 if i remeber correctly just keep me posted on time and place.

Blue Ram at the Mounds Thanksgiving Day!

Nice truck.

I was sitting in a broke down YJ near the entrance when you were leaving.

Mounds mud eats yet another part of my Jeep. Clutch and starter.

There were alot of people there. WOW.

scbrown- Are you www.michiganjeepers.com at all? If not, check it out. I've been part of that group for about 4 years now. Mounds mud SUCKS. One of the MJ guys is in the hospital after totalling his SOA YJ on the drive home from the mounds yesterday.
