Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Cruise Control. If that doesn't work, I'd think clockspring. Otherwise I'd look harder at the ABS crap. When I pulled the module the speedo and other stuff quit.

Terry and Joe have 1st gens--I know nothing about the mechanical rotary pump, but I'd think you could get it up close to 300 without too much trouble--or P-pump it and go to 600! :D

ON warming the auto: I didn't mean to suggest that you run the idle up AND put it in gear. One or the other. Oh and I heard that the 3g's were having "jump into "R" while parked running" problems too. Chock the wheel I said too. ;)

this is dale on Joe's computer... The cruise control is out also. . I forgot to add that in earlier. . tomorrow I'm gonna get Joe to order the senser that goes in the transmission and see if that don't fix it. I'll keep yall informed and thanks for the help. . any other ideas about it are appreciated too. :) thanks again yall. Dale

Wade's burnout from when we hung out up at Marks place back in the summer. Finally getting around to find a place to put it up.

Be patient, it's pretty good size. :( Might take a while to download and start playing.

I need to start us a website I guess...

Cool video - I especially love the flattering still frame of me at the end. :p

A website would be cool. We might be as big as the NW Bombers one day!

Yeah, that day I only had my digital still camera. It makes movies, and puts them straight into quicktime format. I don't have any way to edit it since it isn't raw footage. :( It's all or nothing. :{

I need to start bringing my DV video camera. I can do much better with it.

I'm just messin' with ya - I thought it was pretty funny to see my big ugly head and mouth halfway open there at the end. :-laf

Well, it's still a problem. I got prices for the parts, but haven't ordered them yet. I also need batteries (or A battery). I've kind of "back burnered" motor work until after x-mas. Waiting for more $$'s to miraculously appear :D. Having to jump it off everytime I want to fool with it is a real pain.

I finally got the interior finished last night around midnight. It looks like a brand new truck on the inside. I'm pretty happy about that. A lot of work, but it was definately worth it.

Is there a super compelling reason for me to run two batteries in this truck?

The system sees voltage, not batteries. One works fine. I tried it for a while. You need the reserve CCA for grid heaters when it's real cold AND the truck got left outside.

The cranking with one just wasn't authoritative enough for me. But then I might have had a weak single.

I think the ideal battery setup is a pair in the bed. That leaves more room to set your beer and tools under the hood.

Video: My machine won't play the copy I've got. Can't look at it online--I'm connected by two pigeons under the bridge. BUT the 'puter at Cedar City sure does play it good! :D

So: I put the 10 plate in the Sport last night. WAAAY better. I knew when I test drove it, that it was a little weak--that's because a minimally ground stock plate was living where a 10 was supposed to be. I'm not calling names, but "Dr. P" did the work and the breakoff screw was unmolested--so I don't think it was changed later. Chris never even opened the AFC. (Chris did give a partial refund for the error)

I did. Oo.

Maybe Cheryl will light up the 35's for video footage. :-laf Don't know how sooty the thing is, it was dark and darker last night when I got through with it.

I had Jay's old tires on the other day and left marks from Cannon Co. Tire to Pelham's Auto Salvage, no brakes.

Who has overhauled a 241LDL New Process transfer case? I found a place for the parts. Too much play in the output shaft. Leaking too. Supposed to be "overhauled" already. That doesn't mean much sometimes.

If I could afford them, I'd buy Optimas and mount them on their sides up against the framerails back under the bed. Add a couple of studs next to the fog lamps for jump starting. Relocate the air filter to the front of the engine compartment, then construct a couple of toolbox/partsbox in the new open spaces.

None, except it will not start with one :)

It'll start with one - several people on here run one Optima Red Top. If I was gonna run one, I'd go with a D31 myself, but then you could buy 2 "regular" batteries for the price of the D31.

Speaking of convoy. We should figger out a staging place and time so we can roll in united at the big pull in Murfreesboro. Jan 13-14.

I haven't seen the thread yet, but I think some of that heavy Yankee iron is

coming down.

I've got it. Meet at new Soccer park on Cherry Lane--there's got to be some parking there. Then have the first truck block 231 traffic as we all pull out, then it's just two right turns and 'bout 2 miles to the Pull.

Anybody ever bought a welding helmet on-line? Where'd you get a good deal?

I'm looking preferably for a Miller. More Preferably a Miller Xli. Yet even More Preferably a Black Miller Xli.

an Xlix would work too... Just don't wanna pony up the extra $60 for it, and don't need it's extra features either.

Actually, I could prolly get by with a Miller FS. It's a little slow on the strike reaction though.
