Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Well looks like I missed it, the Friday pull fun anyway. Awesome video especially smacking the sand pile. Saturday was still pretty cool, but no trucks in the sand.

Dang Wallace where've you been? Haven't heard much out of you lately...

Hey that guy backed out of selling my buddy that dually. So if anyone knows where a 2WD ext cab manual transmission dually is let me know. He really can't spend more than $12,000 and he doesn't mind one that's wrecked either. Whatever it is, it'll probably have to have a lot of miles if he wants one for that price. Thanks.

We left after the trucks pulled Saturday night, did anyone in the last tractor class get the sand ? The pull was pretty cool, but it was colder than a welldigger`s butt in there.

hi,

new here. located in franklin. is there any place where i can get a torque plate installed in my area for a 95 dodge ram 3500? i also own a 2004 dodge ram 3500. just ordered a new exhaust for it(everything else is stock). let the bombing begin :)

thanks a bunch!

Hey there, Welcome to the TDR, and especially to our Mid-Tenn section.

1st off, on the fuel plate, You can contact Mr. Meacham Evins at Cedar City Diesel, or Mr. Joe Underwood and Underwood Tire. Both are expertly skilled and highly recommended. OR, you could join us at Joe's shop in two weeks and somebody'll do it for free. Not to take business away from my friends, but we are a performance group, and we do like to wrench on our own trucks. Especially during meeting time.

2nd. Whether Joe or Meacham or someone else does your plate, plan on joining us Saturday January 28th at Underwood Tire. We're having a BIG meeting. It'll be a good time.

Take care,

Andy

You purchase it from whoever you want, I'll be happy to show you how to install it at the meeting.

Oh by the way welcome!

Hey CUmlauf, take a vacation day, sick day or even show up late, whatever it takes; the info you get, the tech you see, the contacts you make, the friendly people you'll meet are all extremely valuable and will all be well worth the day spent there. I speak from experience, this was my first meeting last year. I learned stuff that helerd me out that i didn't even know i'd later use along with things i needed to know right away. hope you can attend the meeting, rob.

Welcome CUmlauf!!! Try and come to the meeting, this will be my second one and I won't miss it for the world, heck, I put off a late Christmas with my girlfriend's family to make it out there. Joe (UnderwoodTire) was telling me yesterday that there will be about 100 people there, don't worry about not having the knowledge there to do ANYTHING to your truck that you want too!!! Hope to see ya there, a bunch of us are, hopefully, gonna convoy out to it from the West Nashville area, keep checking these pages or the thread about the meeting and you can just fall in when we leave out.

Cam Install Pics

Hey guys - here's a few pictures from the cam install last week. Maybe this will cause those of you thinking about a cam swap to reconsider. :-laf I'm kidding, it really wasn't too bad.

Cool pics Hans... . I know who I'm calling when I have a cam to install now :-laf :p

Hey check this out... . guy asks for opinion on a clutch..... I give a honest true to life story/opinion and I get bashed on directly after I say it.

yeah. i am planning on coming to the meeting. at least for a little while. i have got some parts to deliver up there. CMEPULL is in several parts right now. getting ready for a few minor upgrades. the mega cab is pretty nice. got a lil tst box on it. tinted windows, husky liners, just waiting on nerf bars. then i will be thru messing with it. and i'll bring it on the 28th. mark, with the full factory interior in the pulling truck i have let a few people ride in it at some brush pulls.

Hey I'd be glad to help out with one - I think I could probably cut my time way down the next go-around. It helped a lot already having the valve springs done.

Hmmm... well, while your reply was pretty forward, I don't see why that guy reacted the way he did - you know how some people are on here. You just can't win with some. I consider you pretty dang knowledgable on clutches and I think that guy was in over his head there. He couldn't offer any technical advice or explanations like you did. Hang in there, we've all had our run-ins - I know I have!

Yeah I know... . I've done a lot of research over the years. Especially when it came to DD's.

Yeah I know sorry 'bout that! :-laf

Mark, Quit beating up your sister! :D hehehe It still cracks me up that people get mad from forums! My daddy can beat up your daddy! Hump, de Dump, de Dump, Yo mamma don't wear no drawers!

Hey fellas,

I made a bonehead move the other night and swung my truck into one of the I-beam posts holding our big sign at the shop backing out. :{

I need a left fender, a driver side power mirror (power is optional if someone has a manual), and possibly a driver side door for my truck. If anyone has this stuff or knows where I can get them used, please let me know.

Thanks,

Scott
