Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Shay (Sniper), Mark (Landscraper), and myself are meeting in Gallatin Friday afternoon and convoying over to M'boro to the pull. I'm buy some tires from Nick so I need to get there a little early, plus I want to get decent seats for videoing if possible. I think we should be there (Miller Coll. ) by 6PM I hope.

Anybody arriving early trying to hold a spot for all of us to attend please count my fiance along with me, Shay's G/F with him, Landscraper, and my father, and possibly Dilbert.

I posted something a while back about meeting at the Soccer Fields on Cherry Lane, which is just north of Thompson Lane--where the pull is.

But it'stoo late to rmemmrber the details. . bbbe back in the mornning. ;)

Good Evening ya'll just thought I'd drop in and say hello to everyone, will be seeing ya at our meet on the 28th unfortuanately this is only my 2nd exposure to people in the club since my wife doesn't unchain and let me run off from time to time, see ya'll there :)

Alrighty then.

Highway 231 connects Lebanon and Murfunkyboro.

Nobody seems to be interested in the Soccer Fields--would be a beech pulling out. SO I suggest meeting at Walter Hill School--which is about 3 miles north of the Thompson Lane. It's just before the very first light on the North side of M'boro--before you cross the river. If we get hung up pulling out, we can regroup on the wide shoulder between there and the new bridge.

I may be coming down from Cedars anyway.

How about 6:00?

The Cam Is In!

Hey guys - I finished up the cam install yesterday. Oo. Things went very well. It took about a day and a half at an easy pace so I guess that's pretty good being that it was the first cam I had ever done alone. I think the hardest part was taking the front bumper off and removing the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It's an involved process but not too bad. I'll post some pictures when I'm on the other computer.

RESULTS - you can definitely tell it's in there! The whole truck seems to feel more together. Spool up is better but not as dramatic as I expected, but when it does kick in, it kicks hard! I haven't thoroughly tested it out yet, but it pulls much harder and it doesn't seem to run out of steam when it's time to shift anymore - it keeps on going. The truck is much, much quieter now too. Has a deeper tone but that may be due to the tighter valves.

ANOTHER GOOD NOTE - I've converted a long time Ford lover! I did the job at my buddy's muffler shop and this Cummins made a believer out of him. He's dogged the Dodge for years but I think he saw how much easier they were to work on than a blasted Powerstroke so he went out and bought a 2002 Dually today! :-laf It's been used as a car hauler and shows 357,000 on the clock  but it has a newly built engine, brand new rear end, and the truck is exceptionally clean. It's a 6-speed HO. I checked the lift pump - a little weak but not enough to have caused problems. He gave $10,000 for it.

I won't be at the pull tomorrow (indoor pulls aren't my thing) - going to Birmingham for a race car/parts auction anyway. See you guys at the meeting on the 28th. I'll see if I can't get my buddy Darrin to come along too. He needs to see what this stuff is really about.

Pull was AWSOME!! Oo. :-laf

I needed a pull... ... 4 months without and I was having withdrawl issues. :-laf

Boy... . the 3rd place winner in the Pro Stock class took a BEATING literally tonight... and didn't even win! :eek: :{

Don't anybody say a WORD! I have video promised to me within 2 days... . words cannot do it justice! My D@MN CAMERA HAD TO DIE TWO TRUCKS BEFORE THIS ACT! #@$%! #@$%!

Going back tomorrow night... . anybody going give me a holler as I'll be flying solo... . fiance's working and CCD is standing me up for some bartender chic. 478-0708

I'll second that, and was jonesing a little myself. Mark, get those batts charged up again, maybe we'll see some more action on Sat. Hope you didn't miss the blue alky tractor that broke away near the end. Glad nobody got hurt. rob.

BTW anyone coming sat. bring a good jacket, maybe some longhandles if you don't fare well in the cool.

I left at midnight and did not see the tractor brake loose. What happened after it came loose and did it jump the sand pile? Glad no one was hurt.

Tonight couldn't be much more entertaining that last night, BUT I'LL BE THERE!!!

We left around 10pm.

For those that don't know--the running order isn't decided until just before pulling starts--so the trucks may be first, middle, or last. They were 2nd last night and some folks missed them.

CONGRATS MIKE!

259 REALLY bites, I don't know if I'd stayed in it or not. ;)

Maybe they'll run the track shorter tonight! Oo.

THIS PULL WILL BE A GREAT VIDEO!

The blue tractor went to the right side of the sand pile, and popped off a front wheel. i think he broke his hitch, but had a whole bunch of momentum. the concrete wall stopped him. was a sight. congrats to mike too. see y'all tonite.

Going to watch 'em hit the wall tonight---leaving here at 5:30, damm that parking a mile away. :p

Like NASCAR--go see who hits the wall.

See yall there.

You guys have me regretting that I didn't go tonight. Hopefully Mark's camera doesn't die on him tonight!!! You all will have to let me know how it went.

Also, on a happier note, the savings now says that I can order my Edge Juice with Attitude!!! Oo. Oo. Joe, you have a PM!!!

#1 I'm having issues with this not even 4 month old camera! #@$%! And its too dang expensive to be having "issues" #@$%!

I got all of the trucks tonight, but unfortunately no one got into the sand or even really close to it. Except one Hot Farm tractor put his weights into it and that's it.

Not sure if I've recieved video yet or not need to jump on AOHELL and check my email and see.

I will be making a video of my footage and there's as soon as I recieve it so it will be linked here ASAP.
