Well, I'm "under the truck" for a few days. Wife's Red one crapped the 4500 yesterday. Supposed to be a "new reman"-- never did shift right. So I'm pulling it tonight. Then tomorrow I get to put a lift pump, starter, and four tires on the Blue one and drive it into the shop AND pull that one. Yep, that's the one that WAS going into my Greenie.
Anybody want to come out and help a bit is welcome to. I'll be gone in the morning to get the starter rebuilt and tires mounted for the blue one. Might finish up on Saturday. Don't know if I can find my clutch alignment tool...
Welcome to the new folks.
Come use my shop if you need to Steve. Will be lit and heated.

well, whatever... if it keeps breaking, I'll keep learning.
Factory Service Manual said:FSM says code 47 is: "Charging System Voltage Too Low". The description of that error code is: "Battery voltage sense input below target charging during engine operation. Also, no significant change detected in battery voltage during active test of generator output.

2. 4wd won't engage. Light comes on, and will lock in low, but front tires never get engaged.

Can you not rebuild your VacP? I put seals in mine @80K ago and haven't had any problems.
