I reckon it depends on what he's driving, It'll be a good sized hurdle to take his grey truck anyway, but Ol' Smokey is sitting up there too! Ya'll come on, Bring your "pretty" trucks!

Ready,

Set,

GO!

"Ya'll go ahead, we'll be there when the turbo finally lights!" She's a little slow out the gate, but then you better hang on!

I had the pleasure of riding in Smokey up there Saturday. It was nice, Gap... very impressive. I'm not dogging anyone's truck, that's for sure. Good times!

Welcome to the 'table Bling.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but here`s a site that has downloadable FSM`s in pdf format for free. Its on the left hand side of the home page.

www.hemitruckclub.com

It is the Dodge truck FSM`s, not just Hemi specific.

Just to make sure, I would have to download the '05 manual right?????

Shay, you got a fuel pressure gauge? I'd think that the juice already had you at a pretty low pressure at WOT... injectors would prolly make it worse  ... ...

I don't have one yet, I have been wanting to get one though, looks like I will have to give Joe more money to get one fer the truck huh!!! What is the stock pressure? Just for my information, what does WOT stand for anyway???

sniper if I were you I'd just go ahead and get the con-ofe its alittle stiff but you will get used to it and I promise it will take alot to EVER overpower it and its not gonna effect mileage, and something you can grow to if you ever decide to add more, remember sometimes excessive is, well, just right,LOL, good day to all, and hello, and welcome bling.

This has been the general consensus, although my wallet doesn't like it very much :-laf I believe that will be my next purchase. We have to have another meeting now after I get so you all can help put it in, I call dibs on handing tools and getting cold drinks!!!! It's not like I am much of a wrench turner :D ;)

now come on sniper, you can't have all the fun gettin the drinks and tools, besides its a nice feeling when you spin the wrenches and do it yourself, then you F$#K up and its like OH MY GOD, why didn't I just pay someone to do this s#$t, instead I tried to do it myself, LOL, but thats how ya learn, least thats kinda been my learning curve, I've gotten a few things right the 1st time, but had quite a few do-over's, everybody remembers a do-over from when you was a kid right? yeah I thought so, well good nite from lebanon.

Shay rent a GOOD transmission jack and buy a case of beer (for Dilbert)..... we put 3!! Count 'em 3!! Clutches in my old white truck.

Better yet..... how about you go sweet talk 'ole Meach-am into an after hours event. ;) :-laf

Dont pick on Meacham. I bet if you offer to pay him you can help and learn, rather than take advantage of a friend with a shop and tools.

Thanks Bling!!! You learn something everyday.

I guess that once the clutch comes to be, I will let you all know and I'm sure that something will be figured out on how it will find it's way into my truck!!! :-laf wouldn't it be nice if you could just twitch your nose and poof, it's there working perfectly!!! Anywho, it will be a while still, I'll let you all know once it's getting closer to being more than just a dream of mine!!! Right now, the wallet's a little light after Christmas still :{

Thanks for all the advice guys, I really appreciate it!!! That's the main reason why I love this site!!! Oo.

It was a joke, nothing meant. Guess I suck at being a comedian.

sniper I offer the use of my shop, we well have to lay on our backs, but I'm use to it, we can can get Erik up their and let him be Gopher boy LOL,shops 32x52 air, welder, torch, all the essentials, except for backs, but I bet we could recruit a few.

Steve - how is the Smarty doing? I want to hear all about it! I can't wait to get mine in. Hopefully Bob will call tomorrow or Tuesday to arrange for payment and shipping. I hear the last batch have been delivered.

The only setting I have tried is #9. I'm having too much fun with it to change. Truck pulls very hard all the way to 3k plus! Oo. No surge! Marco is the man!

It was worth the wait. Too bad I did not have it at Joe's so others could try it.

All the reports that I've seen so far are very impressive. Bob said I should have a new toy for mine this week! :D I can hardly contain myself! :-laf

I'm glad to hear it doesn't have a surge or shudder. Marco said that it wouldn't. Have you installed the Mach 4s yet? I finally took my EZ off yesterday just to make sure that was the source of my shudder (didn't want to get too cocky) and the truck runs as smooth as silk now. Those things have their place, but I wouldn't recommend that anyone run one with larger injectors. I had never really noticed it except when it was under load before, but you can tell the truck is smooth all throughout the RPM range now. I guess I didn't realize how crappy the truck was really running.

Does the Smarty replace the Timing/Boost fooling? I know it adds fuels and I think it Boost fools, but didn't know what it did for timing. I've always heard it's not so much the hp gains of the smarty(mad ecm) that make it fun, it's the drivability. Throttle response makes the truck just fun to drive. True?

This is from Marco's website. It is the 10 different softwares that it comes with. This thing does whatever you want it to!

Fast guide to Smarty's softwares

SW# 0 : Half power .

SW# 1 : Fuel Saver

SW# 2 : Only Fuel and Boost

SW# 3 : Like # 2 + timing

SW# 4 : “Soft” CaTCHER

SW# 5 : Like # 4 + Timing

SW# 6 : Mild CaTCHER

SW# 7 : Like # 6 + Timing

SW# 8 : CaTCHER no timing

SW # 9 : CaTCHER with Timing

Marco finally broke down and said 60HP on a stock truck at the rear wheels. He doesn't like to claim HP numbers apparently but this came from the FAQ on his website.

He says with bigger injectors and other mods like a TST box you can gain up to 75HP with the Smarty. I'm now sure how that works though. I don't know how a box can put out more HP by adding other parts. I'm wondering what a TST/Smarty stack would put down. I guess I'll find out one day.

You can read the FAQs at the link above. The HP question is the last one.
