Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

GIT ER LIT! :-laf

I've got to swap turbos. Wifey says that HTB2 is too loud. So I'm going to put the quiet little B1 on her ride and the whistler on mine.

By golly.

Well Lafayette was really screwed up to say the least tonight. They wanted $70 to pull if you weren't a KY Outlaws member. Got to meet Hawkeye04... just sorry he drove 1. 5hrs for nothing... he left right before I did.

Just like a I figured..... a bunch of locals boys showed up and raised a stink. :-{} The Lafayette Fire Dept. bent over backwards to try and get us street boys on the track... . KY Outlaws kept saying no. The Lafayette Fire Dept did say that this would be the LAST Ky Outlaws event @ Macon County Fairgrounds after screwing the street boys. After 2 hrs of constant :-{} :-{} I got tired of it and left. My buddy Rodney called me when I was 2 minutes from the house (after taking some friends home 30-40 mins out of the way) and asked me where I was they were pulling street diesel in like 20 mins. Told him I was to close to the house to even consider turning around.

The whole time the locals and the KY Outlaws were :-{} a rep for the KTPA organization was annoucing "3 weeks from tonight be HERE... . last class of the night... . non-sanctioned... . run what you brung diesel class YOU WILL PULL for only $20!" He had a big 'ol :D on his face too. :-laf

Wade that's the same night as your Mooretown pull. I don't know which one I will make now... I have my Dukesfest event @ Nash. Fairgrounds that day..... dunno what time I'll get out... so that will weigh heavily on which event I make. Keep in touch with me on how you do your shield & kill switch.

Later guys.

Well Mark you didnt miss anything by leaving. That whole shin-dig was a joke, the most unorganized event i've ever been to. Ill never go back to another one of their pulls. Only six trucks and four of them was a joke.

Ashley I saw your truck, but man you would have had to come up to me and stopped me for me to recognize you. Sorry. :(

Your right..... not much of a show. How'd the White Powerpuke with stacks do? That's my buddy Pruitt from P-town. :-laf Just tried your cell no answer. I'll talk to ya later.

Head is re-torqued. HTB2 is whistling. Plate swapped. And she's got new shoes--285 Buckshots... I might be a redneck. :p

Still have the safety stuff to do--too bad the bodywork is still fubar.

Been driving on my Mud Brutes since Saturday... . MAN! they are down right annoying with the windows down @ 55-60mph. :-laf Man I'm set for tires for a while, but I need to get those Bridgestone's back on. :-laf

Wade what kinda boost #'s are you seeing on that Killer B2? Or are you still taking it easy? I was turning 45PSI both times going down the track @ Clementsville 3 weeks ago. :D

I'm getting 45-6 on a hard run. How much boost will that turbo stand? I kin regulate it a bit more.

I had one or two "snug" valves and a couple Lucy ones, but not by much. I put them back into "my" specs. I'll run 'em agin sometime.

Anybody besides Robert Tucker running their own veggie oil? Imina study on it a bit. One of the ford guys up here is running 75% new cooking oil. Buys it at a wholesale outlet--not as cheap as diesel, but it doesn't come from the other side of the planet.

I think it would be fun to dyno 450hp on used, free veggie oil and pull that trump card whenever someone talks about MPG or Environment or Hybrid car or just to--FLING A CRAVING on other motorist when you blow smoke! :-laf :-laf :-laf

Can you see the eco-weenie tailgaters now?

You get tired of the cockroach looking thing on your rear bumper:

(smoke begins to billow out the pipe(s). )

Weenie 1- "LOOKOUT it's going to explode!"

(smoke envelopes weeniemobile)

Weenie 2- "Where did everything go?"

(weenies get mad)

Weenie 1- "Get his tag number, we should turn him in to the EPA. "

(weenies mash the pedal and the electrogassomobile stumbles up to 60mph)

Weenie 2- "Where did HE go?"

(McFrydaddy's drippings invade the weeniemobile)

Wennie 1- "Dunno,... hey you hungry?"

Somebody check my coffee. :D

Wade,

Its a good direction to look to. I am running B20 biodiesel and the truck runs great. I plan to get a drum of B50 or B99 and try that to see what happens. No power drop at all. I have wondered about running WVO. Might just have to try it. I wonder if it will make me fatter?..... hahaha

I called Hollingsworth Wednesday about their BioD. Fellow tells me they have plenty and it's $2. 31 + taxes. How much are taxes? . 40 something cents. Why bother? I'm buying regular #2 for $2. 729 and I don't have to worry about getting to their pump during business hours.

I'm going to check into getting some WVO this week. Surely I can get enough somewhere between Dickson and Springfield. Then I guess I'll put in a call to Robert.

Scott

I'm of the same opinion, Scott. I don't see the draw to biodiesel when it's the same price or more as the regular stuff. It's gonna have to be significantly cheaper before I go out of my way to start buying some. I hear that a place in Waynesboro is selling it now - that's about 30 miles south of Hohenwald.

On another note, JAderhold (Eddie) and I met up this morning and he got to try out the Smarty. :D I think he likes it - he said that's next on his list.

Hey Everyone

Finally met up with hans as he just mentioned, and got to try the smarty, first we went for test drive in hans' truck, and he has one sharp truck with plenty of power, I really like the way it set you back in the seat when he put the pedal to it, then we installed it on my truck, and all i can say is woooo, the smarty really brought my truck to life, i couldnt believe the differance.

As soon as i get some money saved i am ordering a smarty of my own.

the smarty is now in my opinion one of the best upgrades that can be done to wake the 24 valve up.

oh... . I just loved the way the black smoke rolled out of the tail pipe when you got on it, and didnt take a whole lot of pedal.

Thanks Hans, you just cost my wife her bday and anniversary gifts for the next year... hope she likes the smarty as much as i do.

Thanks for the test drive Hans

Eddie

Hey Eddie, I remember way back when--when I took Hans for a ride in my truck and he came back wide-eyed and giddy. :D

I used to spend some time down there at Flatwoods... but it's been a while. Sure wish the Buffalo was a leetle closer.

Onto the Bio--damn meth-heads got Red Devil pulled off the shelves. I'm going to set up a rig to make the stuff. The way I see it, too many reasons for it and not many agin it.

Wade

The buffalo is up right now, would make for a interesting canoe trip.

Guess thats a great way to put how i felt after my smarty test drive. . wide eyed and giddy.

Eddie

Bean's personal truck ain't going to be ready, but he's working on getting a customer truck out for the pull.

It's a psd of course with big turbo, big injectors, and a big shot of nitrous.

Anybody but me going to defend the Cummins honor?
