Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

HEY BOYZ THIS IS WHY WE DRIVE DODGES. . Ok Dodge cummins corp called me today and low and behold there paying for everything except labor and fluids!!!!Praise the Dodge Gods!!! All that woring for nothing. . But when Joe and i get done with the ol' cummins she should be pretty mean... But priority first gettin my motor back LOL

That's cool. Problem is the labor--and all the upgrading you'll want to do while you've got it apart.

I just sold my 2000 engine(the stock one) to Robert. Gotta get that thing out.

Andy, you put a pony on a long stick and let it walk in circles around you. :p I don't see how anyone could have liability coverage to do that commercially, but you might find some of them carnival ponies--the kind you see on the long stick walking in circles.

Mom pays a trainer to ride her horses. She's to busy getting hay and feed and fixing the fence and paying the vet to bother with sitting on one.

Macon Co pull

Mark ,

What info do you have on the pull? What time does it start? Trucks and tractors? Any of our guys showing up? I plan on going.

The sanctioning body is the KTPA. They are gonna run a bunch of gasser classes to start off, I doubt their will be any tractors but it would be nice.

Diesel class is gonna be a "Run What Ya Brung" class... . dount they will weigh us they never do in Lafayette. If so its 8500lbs. It starts @ 7PM but diesel's are pulling last class of the night non-sanctioned.

On a side note the 'Express got ***-ended by a 80's F150 today. #@$%!

16-17 yr old wasn't paying attention... . when he looked back he did a  and locked 'em up and swerved right. Still took out my right rear taillight, lower rear quarter panel, and my bumper. I needed a new bumper after being hauled to a couple of pulls on a 24Ft goose where the ramps rested (or got wedged) on my bumper, but I didn't want one this way. :(

where is the Lafayette pull held?

I've got a Russian at work that loves his '02

Macon County Fair Grounds.

Let me know how your coming, but from Gallatin take Hwy 31E all the way to Westmoreland. At the top of Westmoreland ridge is a red light @ the Hwy 52 Intersection. Take a right onto Hwy 52 and follow it all the way to the first red light. That's the edge of Lafayette take right and about a mile/mile & half on up on the left you can't miss it!

If you come up 65N you can bypass Vietnam Veterans Prkwy/Gallatin and go all the way up to the Portland/Orlinda Exit Hwy 52. Take a right onto Hwy 52 there and follow it all the way through Portland, Westmoreland, and too the first red light @ Lafayette.

If you come up 40E then take the Lebanon Hwy 231 Exit like you would to come to my house. Take Hwy 231 all the way (past my house) to Hwy 31E, and then 31E on up to Westmoreland. Right onto Hwy 52, first red light you come to take right, 1-1. 5 mi up on left.

Any questions just give me a call #'s in my sig. ;)

SORRY to hear about the truck Mark--you gotta watch them F-in onefiddies. That's what put the dingy in the side of my truck.

HO yeah, my F-150 is for sale. 1977 351M 4-speed 4x4 4. 10 gears, starts and runs-- needs TLC. Bed is gone, cab pretty much shot, front clip and windshield are good. 35" tires Best offer. I've had it since about 1990. Email for photos.

Not going. I may put off pulling until the 07 season.

I'm gonna try my dangest to make it fella's... ... saw the schedule for Dukesfest in the Tennessean tonight. Last event starts @ 8:15! and its the Cooters Garage band/followed by a parade lap of General Lee's around the track @ the Nash. fairgrounds.

Weights are loaded up, weight rack in the bed..... sitting on 1/4+ tank (GRRR forgot to fill up! )..... as soon as its over I'm high tailing it to Lafayette. Hope I make it!!

Well we're not gonna make this one... just got a call to work tomorrow.

Is there a list of pulls in the area or within a couple of hours from Nashville?

I'll be there Dukesfest wasn't all it was cracked up to be, and we only got one autograph before the lines got rediculous.

So I'll be leaving my house about 8PM to head to Lafayette. Hope to see some of you all there, don't hesitate to call my cell once you get there. #'s in my sig!

I WON!! Oo. Oo. Oo.

I pulled last and took it out the gate to a 309' and change pull! :D

Had a little bit of competition tonight, but nothing like was in Edmonton, KY where all my buds were tonight. I think the hotest truck I pulled against was a 01 F250 with a 6pos. chip. I don't care though!! First time I went out the gate, and first win both in one night! Oo.

2nd place was said 01 Ford with 282 and change. Have no idea on the rest!

I have video, will get it up in a day or two. I need to get some software to transfer it too MPEG straight from the camera.

Thanks to ACook from coming out and supporting me tonight. I know I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, between 7 trucks we had to clevis's and people asking me what to do/how to do this/should I do this/etc. At one point the women called me to the stands because I was labeled "the truck to beat" tonight! :-laf MAO and they needed someone to go look at a guys hitch to see if it would work. He ended up using mine like several other guys! Great night can't wait to do it again! Oo.

You girls have fun up there, we are on the beach right now enjoying the awesome view. Temperatures are wonderful, not crowded, water is very comfortable and you can imagine how the seafood is... ... YUMMIE!

A week of this and I wont want to come home.

Congrates Mark for a first place. You know if Joe were driving your hitch woulda broke..... hahaha :-laf

Congrats

Congrats to Mark for stealing the show. You should have seen the looks in my nephew's eyes when the smoke was a flowing. It was their 1st truck pull and 1st time seeing a "stock" truck make that much smoke.

Mark, I do not know if you could hear it from the driver's seat or not, but everyone had been quiet and and not too excited about the stock trucks. Then there was a rumble, black smoke started rolling, crowd on the other side disappearing , and the "Express" was out the gate. "THE CROWD GOES WILD". And the big bad Ferd guys lower their heads.

Kinda off the subject here, but does anyone know where to find the rules for pulling, i have a friend who is wanting to build a truck for next year.

just have to talk him into a cummins and not a gasser.

Thanks Eddie

Depends on who you are pulling with. The most fun is the "run what you brung" class--which is almost always a local option. Very few rules there, but getting harder to find.

Then you have regular "points" classes recognized by the pulling association. That brings a full rulebook of safety regs and performance limits.

MTPA sets this stuff up in the winter and doesn't change for the season. Maybe we'll get up there and get us a points class for next year. Right now you have to have a harmonic balancer cover and a kill switch on the bumper. No telling what it will be next year.

Some of the pulling associations have rules posted on their sites.

Bowling Green Drag Races

Hey guys - how many of you are going to Bowling Green on Saturday for the drag races? I'm planning on driving up that morning, but I need to be back in Hohenwald for the round track races that night so it's gonna be hectic.

It'll be worth the drive just to see COMP461 finally make a pass.
