Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

HEY, where'd everybody go? seriously? those few folks here-new and old--give some input as to why this section has died. Is it a local thing, or is it reflective of all the other not-for-pay places available to us?

I know folks are I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER-chatting 'bout pulls and trucks soemwhere--just like we used to do here. Why no more here? And what could be done about it.

AND ALSO, i ran across some parts to sell, going to put 'em up here and in tdr classifieds before going to ebay.

24v good/core 235 (stock) injectors out of my 2000--make offer.

#11 TST plate-$75

sport headlights from y2k truck. make offer and fight Mark. :D

i may dig up more stuff. pick up anything of mine at bean's no charge. shipping is extry.

ALSO I NEED: a fan shaft/hub. (my bearings are good but the threads are toast. )
could use: a broken rear axle. (for a fabrication project-need flange intact, shaft/splines can be in any condition. )

one more thing: if you have a large 3-phase motor taking up space collecting dust, lemme know. something 5-20hp would be good. free would be even gooder.

Hey Hans--did that guy stranded in Arkansas call you. Where you at? West Coast or Midland (TN)?

yo thanks, i changed the design when i found a big-truck brake drum in the scrapyard. i'm mounting a vise onto a well casing welded to the drum--massive, yet moveable. (roll it).

was going to weld casing to axle flange then bolt it to wheel--similar, but lighter.

bean may have some. but the second vise stand is going to be bolted to the floor.

yo-check dis out (my woodbury homie accent):

sunk the frontend today--no warning-just whammo-crawdads!.

durrymax couldn't pull it out. took a 4020 john deere to do the rescue.

Still hanging around.

Wade, Joe twisted and broke some axles this year, you may check with him.

Wade, sorry just checking in here for the first time in over a month. My email notifications haven't worked since I signed up again. I never got a call from anyone in Arkansas. Normally I would be in Memphis right now, but I've had to take some time to be with my dad who's been sick. I'll be in Hohenwald until January and possibly longer depending on how he is doing.

As far as the lack of discussion here, I just think the overall diesel craze has died down quite a bit. Whether a lot of it was just fad or if it's because of the economy, it's like a daylight and dark difference from when I left the TDR in '07 and when I returned last summer. Activity has fallen off on the whole site from what I can tell. Obviously a lot of the old gang has moved on, and the TDR isn't getting as many new recruits as it used to. Back in '04 and '05, it seemed like everybody was always doing some new performance-related upgrade to their trucks. Now it seems like most of the threads are on repair and DIY stuff. Not sure how to get things going again. I'll admit that my interest has shifted and my priorities have changed, and I would suspect that's the case with a lot of folks.

Looks like you will be over near my neck of the wood for awhile. I think I have doine about all I am going to do to my truck perfomance mod. wise except maybe replace the stock clutch with a South Bend when the time comes. I will be installing a DSS on the wife's truck too. Just want to keep what I have running and reliable. I want to make these trucks last a long time. The newer generation trucks just don't appeal to me like these do.

Hey Hans, I'm likely to be down that way for deer camp next weekend. Hope your dad gets better just as soon as he can.

And yup, I'm with you Chief, 2G and 12V rules. The 3G's run strong, but I'll never like those interiors and the more expensive bits under the hood. Plus they don't sound _quite_ right. :-laf

I have tons of future upgrading to do, but now it's "just keep it rolling" time. and i'm down to one rolling. my nissan developed a leak...

now to cut the wood.

Got another load or 2 of wood left to cut and I should be set for winter. Just have to get it all split next. Hasn't really been cold enough to fire up the wood heater yet.

yo, I got half a trailer load cut/split today. like to keep a good supply. it's my only heat source and i got caught w/o a supply a couple of years ago. i was injured and couldn't do my normal cut-as-i-go-often-in-snow method. traded for some.

i'm pulling logs out of a logger's burn pile of scrap. a lot is way too big--but then i'm going to attempt to make some riflestocks out of a few big pieces.

gotta get back into my woods and get some lovely black locust out for when it gets really cold.

Hey Guys, been a while since I checked in. Not much time to get on here with the little one running around. I have this 12v that I need to sell, dont wont to but you know how it goes.

94 model

12v p pump

intercooled

air compressor on acc. drive

hooked to a Allison 545

Ran great when I drove it to Rockvale from Alabama.

bus had 90K miles on it, but I found a reman tag on the engine when I striped the body off, so by the looks of the engine, it could have very few miles on it. Asking $2500 for it all or can seperate it if needed. Just pass the word if you dont mine. Thanks again and good to see some jabbering on here

holler at steve on the bus--542 19twenty. he might be interested.

deer hunters? check in.

i swung up into my green one today and thought--geez damn this is a great truck and it _needs_ to be rolling.

so with or without fan (see previous post about hub), i'm going to tear the rear end down where she sits and see wtf is making all the racket in there.

i miss my pipes.

I have been hunting a lot lately, but i am only seeing does and little button bucks, with an ocasional small buck wandering thru. There are rubs all over the place, with one that is at least 8 inches diameter. Makes me want to hold out for him. Randy

nocturnal. get a q-beam. ;):-laf:rolleyes:

yeah, the woods are and _have been_ lit up with scrapes and rubs for some time now. caught the little suckers working one of "my" scapes opening day of m/l. picked on the "off-racked" littler one. damn and tarnation if he didn't get up and run off. saw him again a week later. the other duder was a pretty little 8, just needing another year or two to get "ripe".

no effing does up on my place. gotta get some clover planted. have winter greens out and they look great, but aren't being used now. what with testosterone and all...

going to hickman co. this weekend.

get yerself a biggun'!

ps today was work in the woods day:

hey yo,

bean is having a diesel thang this weekend.

mud drags, dyno, burnout, the usual. come on out.

it's an official tdr mid-tenn meeting. Oo.

the address is "rollin coal lane"-which is the driveway.

the driveway runs offa hollis creek road just north of john bragg / us70s where hollis creek road passes over and hollis creek passes under.

the business is plainly visible for a 1/2 mile either way from the highway. and is 12 miles east from m'boro.

steve patterson--bring your big saw.

hey, anybody got a windshield i can borrow?#@$%!;) a tree got mine.

lemme know where you're coming from and i can give you speciffik down to the roadkill directions.

would love to report, but haven't heard the reports yet.

i had a prior commitment pop up and _had_ to go there instead of bean's.

anyone who is jazzed up about promoting the tdr/our chapter, please get in contact with me as i'd like to step down as "President".

i get no interest (replies) here and i have too many other "irons in the fire" to go figger out where everybody went. i have a career to pursue. and it ties up my online time. someday when i make a buck, i'll get back into trucks. right now i'm rolling in what looks like salvage yard rebuilds...
