Welcome to the TDR, always nice to get new Mid-TN members, we are few and far between.

Right now we don't have a definate date for our next meeting. Its kinda a hit and miss deal right now. A few of us from Lebanon and myself over in Bethpage are going to Thunder In Muncie this weekend! Oo. Probably the ne

xt meeting will be a short get together prior to the Ivy Bluff pull on July 3rd. Unless we end up getting together sometime this month.

Anyhow hey guys here is a picture of my new truck! JHammock keep an eye out for me in Gallatin its got a TDR sticker on the back window and if I can find some decent priced box steel I am going to add 5" Miter Cut Stacks. Oo.

Mark, nice truck.

To everyone who went to centerville. i found out what broke. the spider gears were in about 150 pieces. should have it back together on wednesday nite. we are pulling out thursday am for muncie. hope to see ya'll there. nick

Could I get a little info. on the Ivy Bluff Pull? I am interested in trying to make that event since I can't make Muncie. Thanks for the help.

Also Mark, I will check with some of my customers and see if they would give up some scrap pieces they cannot use for anything.

I sell to several fab shops in our area so I can keep an ear to the ground. Just let me know back what size and length pieces you can make use of.

Howdee

Yes, next official meeting is July 3rd at Ivy Bluff Pull.

If I can get some RT products down here quick enough--and a few more things worked out--I may try to pull at Mooretown this weekend. I can walk home if I break. Anybody NOT going to TiM should give me a shout. They don't normally run diesel trucks at Mooretown, but I'll see what I can do.

I tried kicking around the idea of a May meeting at the last event, and here--but nothing ever took hold. This place was dead and I was pre-occupied too.

Put Revo 285's on the Green one--they look GREAT and they worked well offroad today too. Thanks Meacham. I'll be leveling the 4x2 so I can put the same on it.

I could use some steel too.

Hey Nick what is the box cross-section on your RT stacks? 6"x4" or something?

OOH, more steel. I'll come up with some numbers.

There should be a thread on the pull. If not I'll start one.

It's South of Woodbury, North of Manchester in Cannon Co. 400' track, Predator (Crossville) sled. --Nick pulled it over 400 last year.

Mark,

The truck looks good. What type of steel are you looking for? I may be able to help you out.

Jay

Something like 4x4 or 4x6 I believe? Doesn't have to be real thick, I believe thinner will probably be cheaper too! :-laf I want to do something similar to Rob Thomas's setups he sells cause I can't afford on, but I want to run 5" Miter Cuts on this truck.

I need a piece of 4x4 or 4x6 the width of a Dodge Ram bed. That's all the steel I need. The rest of the parts will be pieces I'll have to buy @ Truck Pro in Nashville probably. Thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind if I need anything.

Good Luck at Muncie Nick. Maybe Tennesse'll make the local muncie paper!

Don't Know where we are pulling at next. Milan if they are hooking diesels there.

TiM Bound

I scored a room at the Best Western in Muncie this morning. So, I am definitely going. Anybody wanting to caravan up on Friday?

Mark, I will check and see what we have on the floor for tubing. I know we have some Aluminum tubing that is 4"x6".

I done forgot about it... I was a proud poppa when my boy won the pedal tractor 3-4 yr old pull class. He pulled 27 ft, 2nd place was 19ft! He got beat by a girl in the drag races, so he got 2nd there. Overall, he won blue and red ribbon, a checker'd flag and a T-shirt. I was tickled pink... another natural born puller! thanks paul, I forgot! And thanks again for the electron tranportation devices!

We sulled up at the pull. We haven't pulled with the new traction bars so didn't know what to expect and we loaded up on weight too. Come to find out, we should of skipped the weight, cause the traction bars more than fixed our traction issues. Track was biting real good, couldn't keep the RPM's up. Ran 2,800 - 3,000 rpm the whole way. We suffered from to much traction or not enough motor syndrome. I think Nick suffered, to much traction not enough rear-end syndrome... :D We just didn't have enough motor to break ours like he did... He still pulled 70-80 ft with just the front wheels.

P. S. Like the truck mark, What year? 97?
