Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

I'll let ya'll know, try'n hard to be ready for Ivy Bluff (18th)and Michigan City(25th) for sure. What pulls are left? Saw one in October I thought.

Would love to elaborate more on what we are doing, but there is competition (ya'll know who) here and we want it to be a suprise! We hope we get to use what we have built before something breaks... . AGAIN!

you trying to lay for me now gap? lol!

did better than i thought at scheid's. about tired of making rich people richer. gonna do a little something different next year i guess.

there's gonna be a pull in covington, tn sometime towards the end of october. not sure when though

Well, I just found out that the truck that my wife and I both love and want has 4. 10 gears? Should I buy. I can buy replacement ring and pinion for $500 and change em myself if I don't like it.

Still on the hunt for my Ol Smokey Jr (12V). No hurry, looking for that deal! Still on the transmission fence too :-{}

Hey Gap, did you ever call about that 95-6? Auto in Gallatin that I told you about? What's up with that man you can set up a time to see it drive it, and dude its CHEAP! Cheap enough you could put some $$ into the transmission and pull with it!

Just wondering. I'm surprised he's still got it, he's actually got two right now. One club cab, one reg cab. Both 2500 4x4 auto longbeds. He usually doesn't keep CTD's very long.

Personally I wouldn't think that was a deal killer. 4. 10's not that low. Especially if you wanna run a bigger tire in the future. I've got a bad feeling that when I go from 32's to 35's that I'm gonna want a bigger gear (currently 3. 73). Just my . 02.

Mark, Was that the truck that was lifted? I think I didn't call because of that. I don't want/need the lift. I would just have to take it off anyhow. Stock truck w/33 tires is big enough for me!

Oh, well scratch what I said then. . (I hate it when two posts pop up at once!).

Actually, check with someone running bigger tires like Steve, Mark, or Wade... They may be willing to do a swap if you'll do the labor! ;)

I'd switch, but I'm not fortunate enough to have Dana axle's. :(

Actually I'm gonna go back down to 305's after this set of tires (yeah LONG way away). I nearly lost a race last night to a Pherd F150 because I don't have much get up and go with 3. 55's and 315's!

But I also need a new clutch and fuel plate! :-laf

No that was another one that just happened to be red.

I gave you the guys #. Its Auto Wholesale in Gallatin on Maple Street.

Its a bone stock 95 or 96 auto. Brand new set of 245 Buckshots!

Just under $9K man you better call quick!

my opinion is. 3. 73 is the perfect gear combo for racing, towing and fuel economy. i wish my silver truck had 3. 73's with the 35" tire. you get a lil power out of the cummins and turning the 35's will not be a problem with 3. 55 gears. nick

Hey Nick, what pulls are left this year that you will be competeing at?

I've only been to 4 pulls this year and I'm itching to make another before the season's out. :{

Got a lead on a used Haisley Street Puller that needs a rebuild, but just like usual I don't have the $$ :(

Nick where is Lynville TN? Did a mapquest search and came up with nothing

I may just make it to Smithland KY, how big a show do you think it will be?

mark, here are the directions to the pull in lynville.

head south on i-65 out of nashville, go to exit 27 (lynville/cornersville exit)

turn right on hwy 129 west go about 8 miles road dead ends into hwy 31

turn south on highway 31 go 4-5 miles turn right onto kerr hill rd. this road is right past richland market store. follow kerr hill rd to highway 166. turn north on hwy 166 go about 2 miles north and you will see the pull on the left hand side of the road.

not sure who all will be at smithland, ky. they have a few local dmax's that are pretty stout and a couple of hot fords. got beat by one of the dmax's at sturgis earlier this year. they have about the same classes that we have at michigan city.

Hey Nick 'ol buddy... . you left an "N" out of Lynnville! :p :-laf

Anyways got a mapquest on it finally. Its only 100 miles from me Oo. as long as nothing comes up between now and then I'll definately make that one. I'm gonna try and make it to smithland. Can you give me any more info on times and gate fee's?

Thanks Nick

there is a hotel at the exit. not sure what name it is, but it looks pretty nice. we may stay there friday nite. it starts at 7pm both nites, i have never paid to get into it, but it is $10 or less i know. i will give you the directions to get there. been doing a lot of experiementing so it will be like my first hook all over again up there. you will be coming up I24 towards paducah. you'll take exit 31 (hwy 453) off of I24. that is the smithland exit. follow it north for about 10 miles. be careful, it's a little curvy. when you get into smithland you will come to a stop sign at hwy 60. take a right on highway 60. go over the cumberland river and as soon as you get over the bridge you will see the pull on your right.

lol on the lynnville. never been there, didn't know. oh well. later, nick

Hey guys, I'm less than 2 miles off of I-24 (exit number 24 to be exact) on the Tennessee side. If you guys need a garage, tools, shower, etc... y'all are welcome here. Just give me some advance notice. BTW, the mapco truckstop at my exit is a good place for fuel this side of Nashville. We're about 30 miles north/northeast of Nashville. First good place to stop and fuel is here. $1. 76 this morning.

Also, for the rest of y'all, here's another proposed logo?? My design and slogan, so go easy on me.

#ad

... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY!.

later,

/abg
