Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Wut Up Fellas?!

Seems I've missed a post or two. The site had been pretty dead--and then I stopped getting notices altogether.

Pull last weekend before last-- Mooretown (next door). Four contestants. Me and Bean (the two-turboed PSD), another Ferd, and a Chevvy. Bean stammered in too much gear out of the gate. Re-hooked and pulled high 200's. I pulled and everything ticked--299 and 11. Chevvy hooks and just TOTED that thing- 314. Other ford went into the 280's.

Found out today that a dealer put a 160hp chip in the Chevy and said they'd warranty it. So I was way short on power again. Plus it was a dually.

Paul and Steve were there for support.

Nick--it didn't rain a drop.

So now I've pulled 5 times and have finished 1st, 4th, 3rd, 5th, and 2nd. Next pull I'm going to try "D". Next year I'm going to up the power a bit and maybe more tread.

IVY BLUFF SEPTEMBER 18!!! Let's see if somebody can beat the little red dually. Oo. (Glenn Stoner) Or the Chevy if he shows up.

wade, stoner would probably ***** if me and mike showed up. he has had his ass handed to him at muncie and schied's. he came in dead last in the 8000 lb class on friday at scheid's. sounds like rhew green truck is running pretty good. the chevy's can be pretty tough. tomac has a very strong running dmax. not going to be able to make ivy bluff this year. maybe next year.

MAN! so many more pulls, and I thought the season was almost out! :-laf

Looks like I've got some deciding to do about the 18th  Smithland is like 200 miles, and Woodbury is only about an hour away. choices choices. . :{ Hey Wade if I came up on the 18th with my stacks supplies you think we could get 'em installed that day before the pull???

I will DEFINATELY be going to Lynnville unless something major happens..... see ya there Nick.

Hey Andy NICE JOB! I vote for that one on our T-shirts! Oo.

Next Chapter Meeting

Hey guys, I've been out of the loop for a while and I thought I'd extend my invitation again to host a chapter meeting in my hometown. I talked to Wade a while back and offered my services but we've yet to have a meeting in the southern portion of the state. I'm located in Hohenwald, which is about 70 miles south of Nashville and directly west of Columbia. I've been a member on here for about a year and have never attended a meeting so I'm anxious to put some names with faces.

I didn't know if you all were planning to have a fall meeting or not, but if you are, we just bought a new house which is completely empty due to extensive remodeling, but it does have a small garage and a huge place for parking and a good backyard to grill out.

Let me know if anyone was planning/wanting to have a fall meeting anytime soon.

Andy - I like your new design for the shirts, I like the simple designs.

Thanks guys, I had the idea spinning around, and finally got around to putting it down. I've got permission from Holset to use their logo if we want to put that somewhere, and am working my way through the chain at Cummins trying to get permission to use the "C". I sent a couple of e-mails to Robert and Robin, but haven't heard back from them, so I guess a TDR logo is out.

As for Fall Meeting, I'm up for that! I think we should have more get togethers than we do. We don't seem to get together much. If we can get a shirt order going, a meeting would be a good place to divy them out.

Do we want that logo on the front or back of shirts? Prolly gonna be white shirts (to keep the cost down).

Meeting in Hoenwald? Everybody in?

Logo looks good to me!

Seems like any of the vendors would let us use their logo (free advertising), if you wanted.

Yes, I'm ready for another meeting..... anywhere is fine

Hey, thanks for the Birthday wishes. Yep, getting on up there in years.

Andy, like to logo. I vote for a large logo on the back with a white or gray shirt.

Steve, was that you that I saw Tuesday morning on the side of I-24. I was on the opposite side of the interstate or I would have stopped.

I was told that Ivy Bluff is having another pull on 9/18. Wade, can you verify this.

Anybody every put gauges on a 1st Gen? My brother has a '92 that he is fixing up. He's got the gauges and the dash pod. Just looking for some tips on installation.

Jay

Andy - I'd put your logo on the back and it would be really nice if we could get pocket shirts like someone already suggested and put either the Cummins logo or the TDR logo on the pocket. That gets my vote.

White or Grey shirts with the big logo on the back is fantastic. I'd like to get something on the front as well (preferably the TDR logo or the "C"). If I don't get permission from TDR or Cummins though, I won't do it. It is in fact free advertising for them, so I agree with the "why not" statement that Paul made. I'm going to check with a local screenprinting shop (Ashland City) on Saturday. If the price is on par with what I have seen on the internet, I'll plan on going with them. Otherwise I'll search elsewhere. I'd like to find a place that would work with me on things like pockets vs. no pockets. Personally, I'm not a front pocket kind of guy, but there are those that love them, and I certainly want to give everyone what they want. :)

I'll let y'all know what i find out.

P. S. Maybe we could have Gap's face screened real big on the front! :D

I dunno. He's just one of those guys. You just can't hep but to want to be around him. :D He and his dad both. Good people.

Andy, I think a small logo on the pocket or where it would be and a large logo on back is perfect!

Jay, yeah that was me. The wife got hit from behind and knocked her into a blazer in front of her. It smashed her new 2004 Maxima up pretty good. Over $5000 worth anyway. She got hit by a Mercedes but the punk did not have insurance! :{ It really scared the sh**t out of me with her being pregnant! She got checked out and everything is fine :)

Looking forward to next get together. Will more than likely go to Ivy Bluff. I would like to see Nick and Meacham pull!

I know the feeling, we got rear-ended twice the first time my Wife was pregnant. Just keeping our fingers crossed it doesn't happen this time. Glad everything checked out.
