Andy - Hohenwald is exactly 30 miles from the Tennessee River by Highway 412. The best I can remember, Nick is in Medon and it looks like he's about 90 miles away. The 2nd would be more than fine with me if everyone else agrees.

Mr. Hauler would probably want a definite answer since he offered to host the next meeting. The last date mentioned was October 2nd.

I'm fine with that date, but will go along with the majority.

looks like the sun will shine

Hey Josh

Welcome aboard. That's a real project there. Puller, Racer, or Grocery Getter?

Just check in here to find out when we're doing something.

Hey Josh,

Glad you made it over! You are of course MORE THAN WELCOME to join us anytime you like. We're hopefully going to have a meeting here in central Mid-Tenn next month, hopefully you can make it down.

If you're in east TN, PM Eric Lamb. His user ID is elamb. He and a big group from East TN either are or have formed a local chapter there. Be sure to check them out too.

Welcome aboard!

Andy

Just alittle teaser for ya'll, not sure if we are gonna make Michigan City or not, but try'n real hared anyway.

Had our new pump on the stand a few days ago. Tripped the breakers on the stand the first go around. Replaced with some bigger ones. Can only get the pump to half throttle 1100 rpm's on the stand (would be 2200rpms on the truck) and it's overloading the stand and tripping the breakers! We saw 750+ccs the stand shutdown on us... again. We gonna leave it right there for now and see how she fairs. Stacks are gonna be sprinklers! Turbo guy did some more magic for us... won't tell us what he did but said we could put our new goodies under the hood to the test. He said we should have muchas air! Got the motor back together and stuck under the hood. Try'n to get her buttoned up before saturday!

I know the feeling Paul! We don't think we'll have the truck back together by then. Got some buttoning up to do yet, but ol man has to got out of town on business and won't get back till late tonight. That only gives us friday night and saturday morning to get her back going.

Think I got my transmission fixed in white truck. It wasn't slipping, but doing 2nd gear starts. Dropped the pan, changed fluid/filter and verified my line pressure. All is o. k. now so far. Think Transducer( Governor Pressure Solenoid) was dirty and the ol Lucas Transmission additive cleaned it up. After I have drove it last night and then to work today it is downshifting now to 1st gear. Be sweet if it stays that way. New Governor Pressure Solenoid is $150. Bottle of Lucas, $8!

Ol lady called me last night at my buddies Service Station and says "You sure you are working on your transmission? You aint' doing some of that horsepower crap are you?" :D
