Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Nobody has said much either way, so I am settling on July 15th. After work, say 5 P. M. , location: TBD. I need to break out the phonebook and see if I can find a good meeting place. I wanna talk about IRP, and maybe make some plans for Scheids.

HotChickens.com has good food and good parking. Monell's has poor parking, but has phenomenal food (+it's all u can eat). What other suggestions do you guys have?

Alright guys I'm looking for metal again. I need a piece of solid stock 2" by 2" maybe 12" to 16" long to build a pulling hitch. If anybody knows where I can locate it cheap let me know 615-478-0708.

Also upcoming pull in Stanford, KY Saturday July 9th.

There will be an ATPA pull earlier in the evening @ Cynthiana, KY about an 1hr 1. 5hrs north of Stanford, they are pulling the big bad boys there first then they are all headed to Stanford. Should be a really good show, and they have really nice facilities @ Stanford been there once this year already. Oh yeah Stanford is only 2. 5hrs from my house driving the speed limit so it can be done fairly easily in 2 hrs probably I was just being lazy that day. :-laf

2”x??” long solid stock... . I’ve made a pulling hitch to use around Dad’s place, but I’m not sure it would hold up to the sled, it seems too soft.

You’ll have to round or bevel the corners far enough to get it into the hitch. I tapped a 1” hole in the center of one end to accept a 1” eye bolt (still planning to run a bead around it). also, drilled a hitch pin hole through both sides about 3” apart so’s you can turn it 90* for vertical or horizontal eye.

Welp... ... . gave Wally Hell my 2 wks notice today!

Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

I start driving a delivery truck for John Deere Landscapes on Monday July 18th!

My birthday is July 14th what do you guys say to a cookout @ my house on Saturday July 16th? Kinda a celebration for me getting the hell away from Wally Hell, a toast to new beginings, and hell... ... we can even have a Mid-Tenn meeting, Stephen (the Red/Silver 2500 from Lebanon) was asking me @ IRP this weekend when the next one would be.

Sounds great to me Mark - I'll be there.

On an even happier note - I got the clutch in last night!!! Oo. Oo. Oo.

It was a big job and the cross member about drove me insane - taking it out wasn't so bad but putting it back in - GEEZ! What is the trick on getting that thing back in place?

We beat the ever-lovin' crap outta that thing and finally yanked it back into place with a chain and crank and still hammering the whole way in.

It's definitely a different feeling. I didn't realize how much my stocker was slipping just at take-off until I drove that thing last night - I'm gonna take it easy for a while longer and then let 'er rip - it's gonna be a good feeling when I hammer on that thing and it doesn't slip.

Hey what do you guys think the most economical way of shipping that flywheel back to Peter would be? There's no telling what that's going to cost.

Heck, my b-day is sunday. Y'all wanna just move the friday night thing to Mark's place on Saturday afternoon?

That's fine with me fella's, let me clear it with the folks tomorrow which still shouldn't be a prob and I will let y'all know something definate tomorrow. Oh and scratch that pull I listed... ... I can't make it due to G/F family stuff. #@$%! Not enough that I can't make Scheid this year with the job change now this! :{ :{ :{

Cookout is ON! Saturday July 16th

My place, Saturday afternoon so Meacham can make it. Y'all post what time y'all want to start or can make it and we will go from there. Oo.

COOL on the meeting, start another thread.

DANGIT on the VP Nick. I worry about mine. The electronics are funky again.

Now, I gotsa pump! putting it on now. Oo.

Okay, I pin the 160 I'm pulling--what does that do? No way to pin the 215 that's going on.

I'm still pulling the 160. All is loose just haven't jerked it out. It's heavy and tight and there ain't no extry hands around.

Then I'll find TDC of engine via valves. Then I'll try to figger out where the new pump is, then I'll try to get it where it needs to be. May take a week.

Got 160 pump out.

Now does anybody know how to remove side cover on governor housing--so I can do the GSK swap on the bench? Always been through the top before.

I don't want to pry it off if it's threaded. Doesn't look threaded. Don't want to twist on it if'n it ain't threaded. Done 24 searches. Everybody say--"go thru side" nobody says how.

listen for your phones to ring.
