OMFG, who carries a fuel jug around--oh, wait that's the guy who doesn't call Corn-- "Corn" right? :p

Yeah, no "Corn" for him. Feger insists on calling him Scott. I give him down-the-road on that every day.

I'm kinda diggin' driving this 2nd gen. She's a NOISY booger!!! :D Not to mention that it's a PIG compared to mine. I like it though... Might have to have one soon.

Ok Andy..... what gives? Why are you driving a 2nd Gen? Where's your truck?

Initially, I was just going to borrow the trailer to get some mulch. We got ready to leave work, and rather than switch the trailer, brake box, tools, etc. , we just decided to switch trucks. Our thinking was since we were still "dressed up" for work, and it was four milliion degrees outside, it would just be easier that way. That worked out great until it ran out of fuel.

Mulch, trailer, hell--haul it like Red does--2 tons in the bed and 1/2 ton on the cab and hood. :D

So who's a networking satellite p/c guru? I gots this sat system and we can't get it to do its thang.

I gots satellite signal. I gots phone connection. They're supposed to get together as a hybrid network. Phone up/sat down. No luck. all day.

Me and the local ISP guy just got off a conference call with the satellite peeps, we've been moved up to the "next level" of support.

Well the wedding was interesting...

I take one look at her, then look to her left, and she's got a guy with her! :-laf LOL, obviously my forgetful aunt neglected to mention to her that I was coming to meet her at the wedding. Oh well that had never stopped me before so I just started up a conversation with her and him standing beside her the whole time. It was quite humorous actually, he was clearly feeling a little left out and kept trying to get in on what we were talking about, but to no avail. I took him for one of those guys that demonstrates the toy flying helicopters in the middle of the mall. :-laf

Anyway, I felt like I accomplished what I set out to do so you Nashville boys might be seeing more of a certain white dually running around the Green Hills area. ;)

Went to the Chapel Hill pull last night - it was way to crowded and my two favorite unlimited tractors weren't even there. :( Saw Meacham, Terry, and Stephen there. That pull has really outgrown that little stadium/field they have it at. I don't think I'll go back until they add some more seating.

Well I don't know how rich she is, but her grandparents sure are rolling in it. She's originally from here, and her grandparents own a concrete plant/paving company that has done really well. She's got a business degree from David Lipscomb and is currently working somewhere in Nashville. She says she wants to move back to Hohenwald and run her grandparents company.

This is great 'cuz I really need some driveway and sidewalk work done at my place. ;) :-laf

We'll see how it goes - gotta find out for sure just how attached she is to this guy she brought to the wedding...

I am a little confused or else my brain is just fried from being a little closer to the sun than everyone else. Hans, what happened to the girl you took to IRP?

Sounds like a soap opera developing, As Hans' World Turns..... :D

Well that deal is winding way down... I've been with her for several years and I know that it's not going anywhere - honestly, it makes me sick to think that it might go some where... it's just not what I'm after...

So you guys can see how I feel about that one... I've just fallen into an old habit that's taken way longer to break than I had hoped...

Well "As Dilbert's World Turns"

We actually got Crazy Cousin Dilberts Pherd fired up tonight.

Getting closer and closer to getting the green basement orniment back out on the road. However he stripped the #1 injector and line so it leaks really bad and has a BAD knock to it. So those are on the replace ASAP list.

Special thanks to Travis (MoreMPH) for doing all he could to suggest how to get the dang thing to fire today. It got fuel to the filter no prob, but we had to crank the living fire out of it to get fuel in and out of the Injection Pump.

Anyhow here's a short 30 Sec. vid :-laf Oo.

Green Ford Firing 1st Time!

Got Ol Smokeys block in the back of my truck to drop off at Mikes Speed Shop today. Be late this afternoon. Hope to be stacking her back up this weekend :D Prolly gonna go ahead and installed main studs and girdle while we got it out. Depends on how bad the damage is, Piers has 20 and 40 over pistons. Give us a little more air :D We'll end up with a 6. 4L or a 7. 0L Oo. That just sounds cool!

"You got a what? 7. 0L cummins?" :-laf

shceids said not to go any bigger than you have to. makes the cylinder walls to thin and they tend to crack under high boost high temp situations. i. e. DONT DYNO!

I think I may have said this already, but I got a bunch of gmail invitations if anyone wants a gmail account. It's Google's web mail. It's all I use anymore. Just lemme know.

Good grief.

Don't dyno--with an 80,000 # load and a dyno op who doesn't know when to let off the throttle! Also try not to exceed 2000 degrees at the turbo. :p

Or just keep on like golf--hit and hope. ;)

The carnage ended when i had to beat the 4,5 and 6 pistons out with about a 3lb..... Multiple direction inpack generator..... AKA ... . hammer... ... HEHE

ROFL!!!! "Multiple direction impact generator" I love it!!! Call it MDIG for short. I always called it my "adjusting stick. " MDIG sounds very governmental, I'll start using that one.

I went out and saw that block in the bed of the truck. ROUGH!! Looked like y'all took a chisel to the cylinder walls. There was a particularly deep one in #4 (if memory serves). So deep, it looked like a coolant passage...

MDIGs... . what a bunch of dorks... ... ... ..... I love it!!! "Diesel Dork Club" thats us boys!

Thanks daniel, we've put her through the ringers a few times! Can you believe the stock transmission and that ol purple TC is still in there :)
