There might be a couple going. :-laf It really should be a good turn out. I know Joe, Gap, and Berry are pulling. I have heard of others but I dont want to speak for them till I am sure they are going. We just finished putting the propane, nitrous and wath meth on Joes truck so he should be ready. It will finally be good to see ol smokey again. I cant forget berrys truck either, it will actually be running on all 8 cyclinders this time. It will be a good pull.

Is there any payout or is it just pull for fun? I am tryin to decide if I wanna go, well I know I want to go but at the rate I have been brakin parts I like to try and win money to help offset the parts bills.



What time do they start pullin?



We plan to do a little dyno day deal at the shop sometime, just gotta get a date set.

It will have a payout but it wont be very big. Nice size trophies and a little payout. I would love to see your truck pull but the money probably wont offset the trip. The pull starts at 7:00.

last year we had a good turn out so the money was good. it just depends on the turn out. we got about 150. 00 for the class we placed in

I'll be there with my cute little 6190lb truck, I don't know how much winning I'll do but I'll be shoot'n the soot and blowing out the cobwebs in the Ol' girl.

I"ll pull in whatever class that bean ain't pulling in. I don't want to hurt his feelings with my little girl truck.

Wife just called, said it is drizzly rain. Of course, it ain't rained in a month!

Just talked to Joe. He said it was sprinkling. Has been all day but he said the track was in good shape. From looking at the radar it'll be gone from Dickson in an hour. I'd say she'll be just about right by pullin' time. Don't be scared! Ya'll come on!

Not gonna make it so pull away w/o fear LOL. Wieghed out all my options and just didnt want to drive that far w/o a tow rig with me (too many broken parts recently), might rain, also been havin some wiring gremlins that I didnt want to pop up on the interstate, didnt want to get home that late. I really wanted to go bad but I figured I would let soemone else win for once.

I think everyone is still asleep from last night. It turned out to be a late night because there was a great turnout of trucks. I know it was late for me, and there were some there that had a lot further to go than I did. I'm sure Scott is a walking zombie this morning. I'll leave the rusults posting to those that have the correct numbers. I'm not sure what everyone got... heck I'm not even sure how far I acutally pulled.



Had a great time. Some very strong trucks.

Where were you at Anthony? Hmmmm... ... ?

Missed you buddy. LOTS of trucks. It was a great show. I don't know who got what. All I know for sure is that Barry beat Joe in one class (Barry made sure everybody heard at least twice!), Butter Bean drove Ol' Smokey to a win in the 6200 class, Chris Newsome won the Outlaw class, Gap had a ball pulling Ol' Smokey, and Joe's truck pulled in every class but 6200lb and put on a great show every time.

I don't think anybody broke anything, at least none of our bunch. There were a few smoked clutches, Chris left a little puddle of oil at the end of the track, and Joe has some leakage around 2 & 3 delivery valves, but nothing catastrophic. There was a white 3rd Gen dually there from CCD that was amazingly strong.

I think everybody had a good time and even Brad showed up. Always good to visit with Cory and it was good to see Cotton and talk a little Jeep stuff. And yes Cory, I'm a little tired. Got home @12:30 and my son was up watching TV. I don't imagine he'll do very well on his spelling test today.

gap got a 1st in 6200

berry get 3rd in 7200 and 2nd in 8200

joe got 1st in 7200 and 3rd in 8200

cory got 2nd in 7200

cory's truck is runing better than ever, strong, very strong

my truck is running on 4 cyls, after the 1st pull i started leaking on # 2 and 3 at the injection pump we still managed to get flames out of the stacks. i got a vid. of berry and you can see his down pipe glowing red
