Jay, Meacham, Shane, and a couple others came too! PAR--TAY! Five different CTD's pulled--couple of us MULTIPLE times. I won't name names, yall tell on yourselves.

So a couple of really cool/fun things happened. #1 Joe wasn't there, so GUESS WHO got to drive Meacham's red truck? :p YEAH BABY! 40psi/1100egt @ 3200 all track long. :D

Then Mark and I take Meacham's truck out on the road to test the B1 quick spool/215pump/cut DV/#10/4K GSK/370's/ FE setup. Yeah, moves pretty good. ;) I drive first then gave it to Mark (who was NOT impressed with my driving) for the ride back.

Then #2 thing. We pull back in to where the sled pulling is happening and there's Mark's truck at half track -stopped- with the sled behind it and folks crawling under it (Mark JUST put a clutch in). I told him it was a joke but Mark was quite the UNHAPPY CAMPER for a few minutes. It was:-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf !

It WAS a joke and we rolled around in the dirt for a while. :p

priceless--and no video...

... ... but I got over it since I found out nobody was that stupid. :-laf

I hated to have to pull-and-run, but I had to leave no later than 15 min before I left. I've got a lot more questions on this new found adrenaline boost. Sorry I missed Meacham... . and Mark's truck "pullin". Thanks to Ivy Bluff for the use of the sled. PS Ethan (my son, mini-me) said that everyone was REALLY cool.

The Big Red (or was that Rust) Farm truck pulled it a little further than we did - once. Heck that's 450 feet!

Oh yeah I may be hooked!!! Way too much fun.

Some good video. I'll get some copies out soon. Sorry I missed the red truck!!

I rearranged my vacation!! I will absolutely be there July 3rd!!!Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

I may need more practice before then. :D

One more thing. I think my truck is finally broke in at 21k. I have done some semi heavy pulls (11k) for hundreds of miles at a time to the mountains and 4k a lot to the lake. But i have never run at 3200 RPM with that kind of load for 30 sec. Man it sounded good.

The truck is very noticeably running better. Even friends have commented on it. Does anyone have any explanations???

He's outta town for a few. I forget where he told me they were going.

BTW I was trying to help him buy a 4x4-5-speed.

9x,000 miles, Standard Cab, 97, light hit in front, it's close to me and can be bought reasonable. #11 plate, 3k GSK, 5", gauges--removed.

Needs a front-end part, seat covers, bigger tires, some plastic for the bumper, a turn lens, a tad of body work on D fender. I have some photos.

It's in the TDR classifieds for $8000.

So I had to replace the CPS on the Blue truck. I put an IAT sensor on it too.

The CPS is behind the starter. ROYAL PIA. Fixed it. The tach was flippin out.

Drove the 235/460 5-speeder last night.

AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGG!

Boy has my backside been recalibrated. :p :D I can't believe that I thought mine was peppy back in 02.

Well Dilbert & I went to Ohio this weekend to celebrate my best friend Aaron's birthday, and let me tell you after this weekend I'm getting the itch for an extended cab again. :{ Horrible thing is mine will be paid off in about two months too! I may look into finding a CHEAP 95 or so Extended Cab and just swap a 215HP pump on it if I can get them for a great deal like this little birdie told me. #ad
I may have to finally bite it and get one this time... ..... only time will tell!
