We'll be limited to about 12 trucks so SIGN UP if you want to run on the dyno. I'll run my trucks on a different day to make room for others if necessary.



Dually trucks have to pull the outside wheels. They let you drive your own truck. It's fun. You won't build as much boost or EGT's as on the street, but the numbers seem to be very accurate.



We'll have a business meeting at 12:00 that day. Dyno will start at 9:00.

Hey Wade hold my place reguardless because even if I don't run, I believe my buddy Ken from Gallatin wants me to bring his truck to dyno if he can't make it.

Guys,

Been doing some tweaking on the old 12v and I can't wait to see some dyno numbers. Installed the Quickspool B-1 off the white truck. Didn't have time to cut and weld the flange for the external wastegate so I'm pushing it all through the system and it makes a sound that I'm use to. At 3/4 throttle in 3rd gear I'm burying my boost guage. Was that a 35psi or 60psi guage? I simply can't remember. Maybe I've been doing some tweaking no one knows about.



The white truck goes in the shop to hopefully give birth to a new set of twins. After that hopefully the run cool goodies will be in to install to get her back on the road again. I sure miss the smell of heavy black smoke in the morning.

Snow Injection

The snow injection you have on your truck Mevins is that the 299. 00 kit they sell on their site and did it help E. G. T's? Did you have to modify heads, block , anything to run this?

The Snow system I have is the 2 stage system. It comes with a 220psi pump and controller. I have it set for stage 1 to hit at 25psi and the second stage to come in at 40psi. The kit is about $550. As for the mods and does it cool, It was cooling great at 115 mph. When I hit the throttle again and the boost guage slammed 55psi the head bolts stretched and the head gasket blew out the front of the truck. The new head(ported,polished, and o-ringed), cam, and new head bolts and studs were the keep cool goodies I was refering to in my last post.

So then you don't have to o-ring then? Or would it be wise to? Does the injection raise your boost?

I'll be there, but whats the point, just a measly comp. Seen them before on a dyno, I trust its doing its job. Back tires hate it, if I could only figure out how to get the front ones to spin... . I think the brakes are stuck on the front ones, they don't spin, last sled about took me to china... gotta get them front brakes lube
