My 3500 still had the plastic on the hood and elsewhere when I took her for a test drive. She had 8 miles after the test drive. I had already driven other 2500's, liked how she was equiped and wanted to try a 3500. Decided right away that I liked her. Oo. They cleaned her up and gave her a full tank at delivery, of course I had to clean more once she got home as I have never had a dealer clean a vehicle enough and she was sitting in a dirt overflow lot at the dealer. Both trucks had 5 miles on them.

Mine had 4. 5 miles. I watched the mech test drive it. I met a person who had the job of moving new cars/trucks at a holding yard between trains and transport trucks. He was a young kid and proud of the fact they ran the heck out of them, lots of rubber marks on the holding lot. I did not think it was funny. I think they should hire senior citizens.

My '04. 5 had 37 miles on it when I took delivery, it was dealer traded from Hayden, ID to Spokane, WA... because it was not a great distance it really didn't bother me... on the other hand I thought of the days when in school of all those dealer trades I did for Weseloh Chevrolet in Carlsbad, CA... I re-call one imparticular, it was a 1986 Vette with the 5. 7L TunedPort Injection, when I left the dealer it probably had the PDI miles on it, about 10 or so, when I reached my destination, MacMagrueder Chevrolet in Palm Springs, it had 150+/- miles on it, that is a HARD DRIVEN 150+/- miles on it :-laf ... I'll never forget the look on the salesman face when I pulled up ... the front-end of the car was COVERED with bugs and when I shut the car down it smelt real new as the motor sighed and went tink, hot, tink, hot, tink ... . it was August and probably close too 100 F in the desert that day, my return trip was in a 2WD Crew-Cab Dually with the 454, well, you can imagine, I put the truck through HELL... hey, I was only 19 Oo. ... the moral of my story, if the rig has some miles on it first check the bottom of the sticker to see who the original invoiced dealer is, if it's not the dealer you're at, then it was traded, and nine out of ten folks that do dealer trades get paid by the mile and aren't 80 years old, hence, they're usually driven with not too much respect or care...

My '03 had 3 miles when it rolled off the truck. 10 when I went for a test drive. 18 when I signed the papers. 34,000 exactly wheen I sold it

Built "exclusively for MyName" I ordered direct from a dodge rep!!!

while she was at the dealership. I had a transport load the truck from the port of entry and I backed it off the transport trailer. Nice to have new truck smell knowing I was first person to fart in it!

8 miles after being trucked 50 from the trading dealer. Too bad they broke the antenna and had to repair the left front finder.

I think about 44 miles, truck had 21 I put 23 miles on it on the test drive.

My truck had 23 miles when I picked it up from Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg Idaho. [with full tank of fuel] When deal was made over the phone, I had the vin # and e-mailed pictures of my truck. 06 Laramie 4x4 diesel, lwb,amp power running boards [the greatest!] ARE Z shell,bed slide, fender liners. I will absolutley buy from DSM again!! Mike Quick, James Moore & Jeff Goldade, as advertised, "NO HASSLE"

My truck had 9 miles on it when I took delivery of it. I special ordered it. The window sticker, which was never on the window, said, "This vehical especially built for (my name). I also told the dealer not to put the dealers name on my tailgate because as far as I am concerned it is free advertizing for the dealer. Grizzly

Mine had 2 miles and since it was special ordered the same message on the sticker.



I guess great minds think alike since I also "strongly requested" that no dealer nameplates should be installed.

On the other hand, BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT A SRT-4 WITH 200 MILES ON IT... :-laf :-laf :-laf -- Some times i will take a guy on a test drive in one of those little pocket rockets, and before you know it he's on the rev-limiter... Of course he didn't buy it, go figure



I no longer let people drive the SRT-4's... ...

When working the car test drive gig, I got alot of seat time in SRT-4, I know htem rather well... The day I picked up my truck, I made the salesmans life easy with the process. He was happy, paid for a full tank of diesel at that!



We did drive 300 miles one way to get this truck. so a buddy was with me.



So the salesman was like "what else can I do for you. " I ask if we can take an SRT-4 for a test run, my buddy has never drive one before. .



So My friend goes 3 or so miles parks and I jump in. Just as I get straight, WOT, revlimiter (that was quick!), Grab second, CRAP! Shift knob came off! rev limiter! push into 3rd, still trying to put the knob on. knob on!, 4th!... 120mph later, brake! Turn! Park! idle... . Watch 2 cop cars drive by... .....



The car had over 100miles on it.
