Had new inst. cluster installed due to fuel guage not working. They recorded mileage when they ordered it, but did not record the hrs. I had driven 7500 miles by the time the new one was installed. The odo. has 58,755 on it, but is actually 66,255. They were supposed to keep the trk. till the new cluster came in, but let me drive because I had some good trips at that time. Very good dlr. !!

Well I got it to work finally, 267 hours at 10,400 miles = 38. 9mph. Last tank burned around town was only 18. 7mph.

Checked mine yesterday, and it's at 5,586 miles with 132h, which equates to an avg speed of about 42. 32mph. about 2,500 of those miles have been put on pulling the 5th wheel.



Not to spoil the fun, but what does this number really mean ?

I just turned 2000 miles yesterday and decided to change the oil and filter, one of those better safe than sorry routines, or perhaps paranoia. I had not thought about the hour meter until I was reading the posts on this forum, so today I looked at the hour meter, low and behold, I had 50 hours, so my math calculations were pretty simple. , 40 MPH. I would not have thought it was that high, guess I better quite playing with the six speed off the line, Officer Friendly will have to have a talk with me.

I guess I'll post again on this since I passed a milestone today.

100,118 miles---2115 hrs. ---47. 33 MPH.

Truck was bought on Feb. 14, 2003 with 46 miles on it.

I have a picture of the odometer at 99999, 100000, and the ending mileage today of 100,118 miles. I'll load the picture but I don't think you can see the numbers in a small picture.
