How much slipping does it take to get a clutch that hot, and who cannot tell that the clutch is being abused when it is slipped that much?

I beg to differ Joe, there is a few that melted down that you replaced that did not have sled pulling on them. That statement is FALSE.
Also keep in mind that YOU TOLD US TO SLIP THEM.
That would "heat" them up and hold even better.
Sorry about your name, not on purpose!!!
Has anyone seen you race it?
Has anyone seen you smoke the tires?
Have you done anything besides get on the dyno?
When someone brings it up, I go off Joe, I'm sorry, I hope the pain will heal in time, and I will be able to read it without smashing things, LOL.
I felt you misrepresented your clutch, you feel you didn't, here we are.
Peter DOES make good products and has happy customers.
That is not in question.
But he has to realize that when people need max holding power, he does not have the product for them.
And he does not need to slam another venders product that is working QUITE WELL trying to sell his, under the guise of:
"His advice seems to me to be well-meant, and to inform folks that nothing lasts forever, and everything has inherent compromises that need to be considered. "
I have seen him do it before, and I finally spoke up about it.
He does not need to worry about Mitchell's misleading people.
Even to THINK it, is way out of line.
