anyone do this its a lot different wish I could have done a pre-post dyno runs but my impressions are wow! Its not what I expected. this seemed to do more for torque than HP. Right off idle it just goes. the trans shifts alot smoother. The large BLACK Lingering cloud at hard take-offs are smaller but has a longer more noticeable smoke through the gears. Smarty #5 25psi boost and under 900 degrees untill lock-up shifts and 1300 untill you back off. Rail psi has become so much more steady with no increase in psi over program. One thing odd the fass pump fuel psi is up about 2 lbs. Now for some news you can use, the fuel mileage numbers. We all know that this is not an exact science, but I use my truck as a route truck. (using the same roads each week). I am seeing a increase of approx. 1 mpg. This is in a 20 to 25 mph winds that we have had here in California this last week. in case your wondering $4. 39 per gallon

SWEET WHO MODDED THE RAIL ?

Todd, What can I say but WOW! the insall went well after the first start. The short crank time to start is a big plus. Where I notice the biggest difference is at low rpm in the seat of the pants feel. AND it really wants to keep rolling when you let off for a stop sign. I think these will be big in the mpg But will take some time to get the mpg from it. Teach a old dog a new trick, just takes longer! The gauge difference is amazing. When I first talked to you I mentioned that the rail gauge was to busy. (Lots of movement). IT has setted way down. It will take a week to get any results of fuel mileage. NOW the BAD news well not to bad I just missed the post office today. I was so excited to try it this morgning that I forgot the package this morning. Tomarrow I leave early an will miss the post office again. Wednesday A. M. for sure. i'm not going any where. THANK YOU

I installed the Wild Rail about a month ago. Although, Todd didn't make any mileage claim, I am getting close to 1 mpg better. Also, much smoother than before. Performs great with the DDP 50 injectors. Much more responsive at low end. As far as the EGTs go, with mods I've made, they average 700-800 while pulling my 3 horse slant bumper pull trailer. Accelerating up hilll they did reach 1000, but I don't push it that hard with the horses loaded. Very happy with the results. :D

T&C diesel performance Todd was great the mileage results were my idea, since I run the same route EVERY week. So the only variables are weather and load but, that would only be around 300 lbs. And the things that continues to surprise me, is the smooth idle and how the rail pressure gauge has smoothed out. I moved the Smarty up and still lovn' it. I'll post when I get the answer on the bank loan to get fuel. HA! HA! $4. 49 per gallon here in California

I've got some drivability issues with my '04... when I lay on it, the rail pressure drops big time and then catches back up. I was thinking dual CP3's were pretty much necessary. these twin turbos are pretty lazy until the rail pressure jumps up! :(

will the rail help?

If you are asking Me? Yes it will, Even with Modded/Dual Pumps the rail Needs to support this hardware.

Forrest,

Dual CP3's will fix that. At least, they did on mine. :D

I did mine about 2 months ago. The install was easy and there was a noticeable differance right off the bat. I bought mine from T&C Diesel and would highly recommend them.

When i first did mine, it was an OK increse in power. I thought it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. Then I realized that I forgot to hook up my edge EZ. If I can notice the power w/o the edge then its got to add some power. Its a very good mod, easy to do, good power increase and the price is right.

Would reccomend it to anyone
